King of Diamonds | Beachfront, Curved Balcony!

Absolutely loved the condo and area. However, the patio sliding door is extremely difficult to open. The master bathroom shower is very confusing. Called maintenance and it was installed backward.

The property is in need of repairs and updates. The ice maker did not work. No lock on back door. Major roof leak in bathroom during rain storm. Beds not really comfortable. Stains on chair seats at table. VERY few glasses and coffee cups. Had to buy Solo cups and washed cups every day. Just a few regular spoons and the ones that were there had rough edges. Had to get plastic spoons. VERY disappointed in the actual condo but the management company was very helpful on our biggest problems. They even brought us a bag of ice and clean towels since we used what we had to dry the bathroom from the roof leak. And the people at the check in desk were super and helpful.

The condo is DIRTY with UK stains on the walls around the beds. The refrigerator/freezer leaked and NO ONE came to repair, mattresses are uncomfortable, the balcony door is almost too heavy to open, not enough towels for the 8-guest reservation plus poor water pressure. Why only TWO fobs/keys for EIGHT adults? Constantly juggling to be able to do anything. Will NOT recommend this condo. The resort amenities are nice.

The resort was nice and had an amazing pool. Pool and lazy river both clean and rafts are available at the pool.

Easy instructions on Condo, and Absolutely Beautiful views

This condo was beautiful. The only problem was that the sliding glass door leading to the balcony was hard to open and made a whistling noise. There were extremely high winds on those days, though. It was decorated very nicely and had all the items we needed (except tissues). We would definitely stay here again.

We booked this condo for a week for my 3 sisters and I. This is our 4th stay with 3 excellent experiences. Each bathroom had a hotel sized package of bar soap, shampoo and conditioner & 2 tiny rolls of toilet paper. The main shower seemed to not have a connection to the cold water. There was a leak from the ceiling in the hall bath, the repairman said that the cause was because the air conditioner filter was not changed and had clogged up. There was one hand towel supplied for both bathrooms. The shower floor and the tub floors were slippery and really needed bath mats. Kitchen supplies were limited to 2 dishwasher tablets, a 2 oz. bottle of dish soap, salt and pepper. The refrigerator ice maker did not work and the water from the refrigerator came out as a trickle. There was a tiny portable ice maker on the counter but no instructions to use. The mattresses were all uncomfortably firm and pillows were flat and hard. One of the spare bedrooms had a comforter that was lumpy and the pull out sofa was saggy. Cords for the fan/lights were difficult to reach. All the fabric furniture looked stained/dirty. The patio door was almost impossible to open- and whistled when it was windy. The lock was broken and the stools were rusted. There were BUGS! Three of us were bitten at night. The leather couch had a broken leg, the fabric sofa and recliner were uncomfortable and there were no instructions for the TV. Positives: Great view.

The King of Diamond property was very clean and supplied your basic necessaries to provide a comfortable stay. The front desk was quick with both check in and check out and both the pool and lazy river were clean and well maintained. The only issue we had was that the sliding door to the balcony was extremely hard to open and close and had an annoying whistle as the wind blew. The view of the ocean can be enjoyed by sitting on the balcony or looking out through the many glass windows. This property is located on the West end of Galveston and is just a short drive to the strand and several wonderful restaurants. We definitely will stay again.

The view and sound of waves was perfect. Unfortunately it was too cold for me to get in the pool or river but that was my fault. Almost wasn't able to figure out how to use shower but husband figured it out. Still think a knob isnt working, though.

The property is clean and well maintained. The condo itself was perfect!

The condo is beautiful inside and out. The view is spectacular, and the amenities are plentiful. It was too cool and windy for us to use the 300 foot pool or the lazy river, but I'd consider coming back to this unit. We were very pleased.

Generally good. The place was dusty when we arrived, floors not swept, dishwasher door damaged, almost impossible to open and close the balcony door, multiple cockroaches sighted. Master shower head is rubbish, needs changing, showers took 3 times as long.

Lots of things broken in the unit (master shower, bathroom/bedroom drawers, ice maker) 1towel and 1 washcloth per person for a 3 night stay with no laundry soap is a bit ridiculous. 3 patio chairs for an 8 person condo is also a bit ridiculous. But you can't beat the view!

Enjoyed our family time

The view was the best from this room! Watching the pelicans was amazing! Sad the pool wasnt usable due to the hurricane, but the lazy river was working just fine!

This was a great location for a family vacation. The property was amazing with so much to do. We found ourselves wishing we had a couple more days to experience even more of what it had to offer. I would definitely recommend staying at Diamond Beach.

Outstanding

The condo was clean, nicely decorated, and comfortable. We enjoyed the views from the top floor. The kitchen had all that we needed to prepare several meals. We love the extensive pool & the lazy river at Diamond Beach Resort.
