Key West Hen

The Key West Hen was perfect for our stay in Key West- clean and convenient. We were able to walk to Green Parrot and sunset at Mallory Square. We rode bikes to the beach at Fort Zachary Taylor and Louis' Backyard but could have walked. You can't beat Truman Annex for location.

Quiet community. Small but refreshing community pool. Close to everything. Well taken care of accommodations. So nice to have a small washer and dryer.

Stayed here 10 days in early May and the location is great. 10-15 min walk to State Beach which is a beautiful clean and quite beach. One Block from the legendary Green Parrot and two blocks from Duval Street which makes the location of the property perfect because it is well away enough from the noise of the bars and clubs but still very walk able. The home is beautiful and clean and Alica the home owner is a lovely quick responsive owner, would certanly rent this property again.

Great location for key west. Close to everything, but very quiet for you and your family. Pool on the location was fabulous. Condo was spotless, had everything you needed to enjoy your vacation. Parking spot is an amazing added benefit! Highly recommended, go to blue heaven for breakfast!!!

The property location is about the best you can have in Key West. It is within walking distance of everything you might want to do such as go to the beach, go fishing, eat out or do any water sport known to man (or woman). If you do not want to walk then you can rent a golf cart (like we did one day) or a motorized bicycle, or a plain old bicycle. I am surprised they do not rent horses since there are so many options. Needless to say we had a very good holiday and the Condo was probably our best decision. It is a clean and secure facility and has a nice pool. The amenities are all there and it is a very nice and comfortable place to stay. We would recommend this rental to anyone who visits Key West.

Great size for 2, ok for a family, maybe not so hot for two couples (single bathroom, not a lot of space to spread out). Two balconies/decks but that's the limit of outdoor space. No view. No grill. It's an interior condo so noise from the neighbors comes through. Well equipped and spotless. One of the cleanest I have ever rented. Not a bargain by the time all the additional charges are added but that's offset by being in a great location in the Truman Annex. Owner/manager was easy to deal with and responsive.

We couldn’t have dreamed of a more perfect spot! Ideally situated just steps from Duval Street, we didn’t need to touch our car once during the entire trip. The apartment was stylishly furnished with top-notch appliances, and everything was spotlessly clean. The included parking space was a fantastic bonus. Renting this place for our stay was a decision I’d make again without hesitation!

Our condo stay was wonderful! This was the perfect condo for a small family. It’s in close, walk-able proximity to all the things, but quietly tucked away in a chill area. The two shady porches are perfect for coffee, wine, or just sitting in the rocking chairs listening to nature. The kitchen accommodated our needs, but we mostly eat out every meal on vacation. Communication with the host was great! The pool is a nice perk! We could easily walk to the beach, walk to Duvall, walk to breakfast hot spots. Just fabulous! I will definitely return to The Shipyard at my next visit and The French Hen was ideal for us. Clean & modern.

Return stay at The Key West Hen, this property continues to delight. Location is perfect for any activities on Duval, quiet enough for chill time on the rear or back porches, 10 min walk to the Fort Zachary Taylor Beach. Well equipped kitchen and has been well loved. Look forward to our next trip!

Wonderful place. Clean and well decorated.

Centrally located and right off Duval. Travel North a few blocks and you are in the heart of KeyWest action. Travel South a few blocks towards the quieter Bahama village, and you could be hanging out at Hemingway's place or walk up to the Lighthouse tower.. the beach is only a 20 minute walk, or rent a bike, it's faster.

My family and I stayed here over the Thanksgiving holiday, and it was an incredible experience! The weather was perfect, and the condo was exactly as described. Alicia was fantastic—she was quick to respond and even helped us coordinate luggage storage with Paradise Porters. They delivered everything seamlessly to the Truman Annex, making our arrival hassle-free. The condo is in a quiet area of the Truman Annex community, which we loved. It's peaceful yet conveniently close to all the popular attractions. Despite previous mentions of the air conditioning being set at 74, we found no issues—ceiling fans kept the space comfortable. We will absolutely stay here again on future trips. Highly recommend! Enjoy your stay!

Excellent place to stay

This unit is in the best location. We were able to access everything we wanted so easily! The decor is fantastic and my favorite was the book selection…”To Have and Have Another.” Steps going to the upstairs unit were a tiny bit difficult to maneuver with luggage, but not a game changer. I felt an extra layer of safety with the outside gate, even though Key West always feels safe. Overall, as someone else said, a hidden gem. Thank you for a relaxing, comfortable weekend.

This property is perfectly located, just short walk or bike ride to the popular sites and activities. The unit was very clean and well stocked.

This 2 bed/1 bath condo was pretty, charming, and well done. There is no oven but otherwise everything is very well appointed and we didn't need the oven anyway. Walking distance to everything! We enjoyed our stay immensely!

The unit was the perfect size and close to lots of things to do. Host was great with communication and was a huge help when an unexpected situation arose. Definitely recommended!
