Sitting oceanfront along five miles of white-sand coastline is the Kana’i A Nalu complex in the town of Maalaea. The central location along Maui’s southern coastline is an easy drive to attractions in Lahaina, Kihei, and Maui’s North Shore. Walk to the Maalaea harbor, where you can set sail on fishing expeditions, whale watches, snorkeling adventures, and other marine excursions. If you don’t want to get your feet wet, explore Hawaii’s top aquarium, challenge your friend at mini-golf, or grab some tasty barbecue at Beach Bums (all located next to the harbor). Take advantage of the heated oceanfront pool after a long day of exploring Maui’s top attractions. Watch the sunset with your feet buried in the beach sand that fronts the Kana’i A Nalu, then prepare dinner on the community barbecues or head back to get creative in your fully-equipped kitchen. The ocean views, tropical grounds, and swaying palm trees will combine to set the mood for your perfect Maui vacation.

Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”). (A discount may be applied for stays of 28 nights or longer, if permitted.) The Damage Waiver covers you for up to $3,000 of accidental damage to the Property or its contents (such as furniture, fixtures, and appliances) as long as you report the incident to the host prior to checking out. The Damage Waiver fee eliminates the need for a traditional security deposit.

The property is located right next to the beach; every unit has an ocean view and the walk to the beach is a piece of cake! We also appreciated the grills and grilling tools located by the pools. Would definitely stay here again.
Nice home with all amenities!. All kitchen utensils, washer and dryer, sofa, TV... It was a pleasant stay. Well maintained home.
Beautiful view, clean condo, lots of extras (snorkel gear, boogie boards, cooler). We would have loved to stay longer. It’s a great location in a quiet area.
The unit provided amenities that made our stay as comfortable as possible. The local team help alleviate our stress during a horrific situation with the brush fires around us. My family are grateful for the company’s generosity and concern for our safety.
We weren’t sure how this would be since it’s not in a very touristy area, but it was an awesome location! Quiet and peaceful, but still pretty centrally located. Beautiful ocean views and able to walk right down to the beach. Loved our stay!
The view is just perfect! The breeze that comes through the windows and doors is wonderful. We did not even need an air conditioning. The space was great and we were SUPER grateful for the snorkeling equipment! We will absolutely be back! Mahalo!!!

We loved our stay!!! Saw turtles while snorkeling in front of the condo then enjoyed a dip in the warm pool. The condo has an awesome view, is beautifully furnished, and is equipped with everything for a wonderful stay. We loved grilling near the pool and having dinner on the lanai. It is a great location and easy to get to Kihei, Lahaina, and the airport. We couldn’t have asked for anything more.
Great location- equidistant from everywhere on the island, all the amenities included, except a vaccum cleaner- which would have been amazing to have, due to the constant sand blowing in fron the sea, dust pan & brush doesnt cut it:). Other than that well appointed home with good appliances, appreciated having a washer/dryer in the home. Great ventilation if you have the front door/window & lanai doors open, didnt really need A/C with the winds blowing. Had a problem opening the door to lanai & contacted vacasa who had a tech come by very quickly, really appreciated the level of service, tech came back next day while we were out- asked permission to fix while we were out, they'll probably have to replace the doors at some point, but we we're ok as long as we could access the lanai. Checkout the local produce at Oluwalu fruit market & the malasadas @ Sugar beach bakery - way cheaper & fresher than Safeway, enjoyed some wonderful evenings on the lanai, pool & beach next to the property.
Views, unit location, house provided items, easy parking, close to everything. AC not needed or provided, but the winds in this area keep you comfortable
The home was not what I expected. There were cleanliness issues including a disgusting stain on the hideaway mattress. It should be replaced ASAP. There are several vertical slats missing from the living room blinds which makes it difficult to sleep in the living room. The pocket door was inoperable so there was no privacy in the guest bedroom. It was finally repaired on night 3 of 4 for our stay.
