J200 - Closest Unit to Ocean, Corner Suite with Authentic Island Decor 2BD/2BA

Overall a fantastic location and a very large unit for a 2-bedroom. The decor is nice but could use some upgrades, and the cleanliness may not be up to everyone's standards but overall we would recommend this place to everyone. The beach cabana is a short walk away but the resort offers a golf cart ride to the beach if you have a cooler or other things to carry, we highly recommend the golf cart service!

We have stayed here before, and booked it again this year. The location is superb with views of the golf course, and down to the water. Walk to the beach is 5 minutes away. Although the furniture and carpet is dated, and could use a deep clean, the condo has a well equipped kitchen with spices and other grocery essentials. Also there are beach toys and some beach chairs supplied as well. The second bedroom provides privacy as well as nice views. The host Anders is very responsive. The Hawaiian decor and memorabilia speaks to a long history of fun family vacations. Looking forward to being here again next year.

We love staying at the Maui Eldorado and have enjoyed unit J200 several times now. We were a bit put-off due to the construction going on 50 feet from the Lanai. The crew started early digging trenches for new underground pipes. Not exactly the sounds we want to wake up to on our Hawaiian vacation. I realize the work has nothing to do with the property host, but a heads-up would have helped.

Excellent view and comfortable beds! Lovely condo! Had a cook out at the grills at the fabulous pool. Walking distance to a great convenience store for supplies and also a shopping mall. It was an amazing trip. Host went above and beyond. Highly recommend.

Balcony view

It was a great property and location. Clean, Fully stocked kitchen and so many extras like coolers, chairs and beach gear. The unit was very roomy. Comfortable beds, great bathrooms. Would stay again.

Great location. Beautiful view of the ocean from balcony. Easy stroll to the cabana. Condo has cozy, vintage vibe. Kitchen was well stocked with tools and appliances. We also used the BBQ by the pool.

We have rented many condos at the El Dorado complex over the last 20 years. We think the location is terrific, and the condos are spacious. This condo is by far my favorite. This complex was built decades ago, and some of the units have been extensively remodeled, and others just updated as needed. This one falls into the latter category. Although the mattress in the main bedroom was a little soft, and, yes, there is shag carpeting that is dated and some older furniture, I don’t believe that is as important as many of the features this unit offers. The kitchen is pretty updated. It is well-stocked with pots and pans, and even spices, cooking oil, and paper products. This unit is incredibly spacious. The views from the large sliding glass windows in both the bedrooms and living area are spectacular, of both the ocean and the golf course. It has a wrap around lanai with lots of seating. There are beach chairs, boogie boards, beach toys galore in the closet. And it is the closest condo to the beach walk, 5 minutes to the Black Rock area. Of course, the cabana is a terrific plus with a spacious kitchen, seating area and beach chairs and towels available. Sure, some of the decor and furnishings are dated. But ask yourself, “Is this what you care about when you come to Hawaii?” I prefer a quiet, lovely location and easy walking to one of the best beaches on Maui. We will be back.

We loved this Maui Condo. Beautiful view. Excellent location close to the beach. We loved sitting outside and being close enough to walk to everything.Owner texted when the 2nd payment was due, but other than that there was no contact. The place was perfect and I didn’t need him.We did not love the king bed. The side closest to the bathroom is especially uncomfortable and feels like you could roll off. My adult boys loved the single beds in the 2nd bedroom. The closet of beach gear including several ice chests, beach chairs and boogie board was fantastic!I’d stay here again if that bed was replaced.

Great view of ocean, beach, golf course. Spacious rooms with large lanai! Close to restaurants and shopping yet separated from noise and traffic!
