Conveniently located close to some of the best area attractions, Garden City Beach is directly south of Surfside Beach and ends on a peninsula at the mouth of Murrells Inlet. One of the most renowned attractions in Garden City Beach is the Pier at Garden City. Other points of interest include Marlin Quay Marina and its surrounding restaurants, such as Sara J's Seafood Restaurant, Gulfstream Cafe, and Original Sam's Corner.

Just south of Garden City Beach is Murrells Inlet, a seaside community considered the Seafood Capital of South Carolina and home to some of the nation's best golf courses. Once primarily a fishing village, the town is best known for the Murrells Inlet MarshWalk, a half-mile-long boardwalk overlooking a pristine salt marsh, and the many award-winning restaurants along Highway 17 Business in the central business district.

Brookgreen Gardens, a sculpture garden and wildlife preserve built on four former rice plantations, is located slightly south of the MarshWalk. It features several themed gardens with American figurative sculptures, trails through several nature reserve ecosystems, and the Lowcountry Zoo.

If you're looking for places to shop, The Market Common, Broadway at the Beach, Barefoot Landing, two Tanger shopping outlets, Myrtle Beach Boardwalk and Promenade, and many more shopping facilities are all within an easy drive from Garden City Beach.

Looking for entertainment and attractions Take in a show at Pirates Voyage, Medieval Times, Alabama Theater, The Carolina Opry, or Legends in Concert. Then visit SkyWheel Myrtle Beach, Ripley's Aquarium, WonderWorks, Ripley's Believe It Or Not Odditorium, Hollywood Wax Museum Entertainment Center, and The Pavilion Nostalgia Park.

Other points of interest nearby include the waterfront community of Georgetown, the third-oldest city in South Carolina, and the second-largest seaport in South Carolina, as well as historic Conway, with its downtown Riverwalk area nestled on the banks of the Waccamaw River. Both towns include fine dining, shopping, and historic sites.

Take a day trip to Charleston to experience shopping, a harbor cruise, a city carriage tour, or a plantation tour. Charleston is only 87 miles from Garden City Beach, approximately a two-hour drive. It's a picturesque and exquisitely preserved southern city with antebellum architecture, cobblestone streets, and historical landmarks.

Whatever your desire, whatever your need, the Grand Strand offers something on everyone's to-do list. We offer a variety of restaurants, retail stores, miniature golf, entertainment venues, charter fishing, water sports, and, of course, relaxation.

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Inlet 19 had everything you need away from home. It was equipped with pots/pans and dishes which made it easier for our family of 5! Pool and condo were both maintained very well. Our only downfall was finding quarters for the laundry room. I suggest bringing quarters down with you because finding a change machine in the area was hard to come by.

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was clean. I was very happy with the location. I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We LOVE Inlet Pointe and have been staying here for many, many years. The condo this year - the beds were TERRIBLE. They were soooo uncomfortable and the twin bed squeaked every time the little one moved. There were also many dirty dishes that had been put away in the cabinets. The cleaning staff did not vacuum the floors, I cleaned when I got there. We Love this place but, there were some Loud people staying there this year. Some kids were in the pool screaming and left to go fishing alone. Not sure where their parents were but, I ended up calling after 11pm and complaining. It was frustrating to pay so much for a week and have these issues. People all over the place left stuff outside their doors and it looked trashy. There was a tent under the stairs that looked like a homeless person was living there. Things like this use to NEVER be aloud. Also the amount of dogs barking was TERRIBLE.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: awesome place to spend the winter, in between the ocean and the inlet. The biggest disappointment was the difficulty in accessing the inlet to kayak.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Overall, a good rental experience, we would return here again. Location is everything at this place. It would have been nice if the rental company had informed us about the damages to the pier and docks, that was a major point in choosing this location, then to arrive and not having been notified about the damage was very disappointing.

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was more than happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We selected this property specifically to have use of the pier that accesses the inlet. Unfortunately, the pier was partially destroyed due to Hurricane Ian Sept 30. We have kayaks and had planned to launch them from the pier and fish off the end of the pier as well. While fishing is okay, it isn't ideal due to the lack of space along the walkway. We can't launch our kayaks due to the ruined and dangerous launch area. We met condo owners who are not happy with the pier not being repaired after 3 months. We cleaned the windows in the condo because they were green due to the salt water. It would be nice to have a vacuum to clean floors/rug versus just a broom. Otherwise, the condo itself is nice, spacious for 2 people. Love the balcony overlooking the inlet facing the marsh walk. Purchased a few incidentals for the kitchen and bathrooms. Someone came through to spray for bugs. Washers and dryers are small, noisy, older and temperamental but affordable for a load. There are security codes for access to parking, walkways and the beach, but all the gates are left open. But there haven't been any security concerns. Beach access is great. Pool drains are clogged with leaves, but water is too cold to swim in any way!

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was very dirty. I was very happy with the location. I was very dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The office personnel were very nice and helpful. They allowed us to check in early but the new electronic door locks didn't work to start, That was fix pretty quickly. The couch and 1 chair were very worn and dirty. We used spare sheets to cover them before sitting. My wife walked around in her sock feet and I was barefooted and before long her socks and my feet were black!!! The blue wooden crabs on the wall of the spare bedroom are covered deep in dust. The edge of the walls/floors in the bathrooms had dirt sitting. We washed everything in the kitchen before use. I'm sorry to be so critical of the condition of cleanliness of the property but I did pay good money for the stay. I might give Garden City Reality another chance but not at this property.
