Incredible OCEANFRONT Location with 30' Balcony!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This is a wonderful beach get-away. Apartment C is the bottom floor where we stayed. There was a beautiful fire pit with outside chairs. The outside area is shared with the top two floors above apt C. No one joined us outside, so it was even better. You have to walk a short distance to get to the ocean, but it was perfect for us; a much needed retreat.

Couldn't ask for a better view of the water. More family was staying a block away. Got to watch our grandsons and friend surf the waves.

If you're looking for a place right on the ocean, worth fantastic ocean views, this is it! As others have said, it doesn't have a beach that you can sit on chairs all day but the first half of the day, the tide is out far enough that there's plenty of sand to walk down to the boardwalk or play catch. The unit is older but they've updated where it counts and it was clean and well-appointed. The master bath is great, with a big new shower and large counter/ sink area. There is a full ocean view from the master and the living rooms. The second bedroom is at the back of the unit. It has 2 twins and the window looks at the wall directly next to it. However, if you're in the bed next to the window and open it, you can see the ocean, but the people in the adjacent property can also see you. My 6' 4 and 6'6 sons complained a bit that they were staying in the servants quarters, but LOVED the rest of the unit and acknowledged they weren't paying for anything, and thus were content. The kitchen is very well stocked. Coffee pot takes KCups or ground coffee. The backyard is fantastic. It is like having your own private beach to sit and watch the surfers and sailboats. We enjoyed the firepit and the variety of seating areas. We went at the end of April, I'd imagine that this area gets pretty busy in the summer, but it was very relaxed and we had a perfect trip!Easy walk to the pier and everything near it, Go to Johnny Manana's and Parlor Donuts. Easy check in and set up. Having a garage parking spot was super ! The splashing water views from the lower level were exhilarating!

We loved beginning our new year beachside, and this was the perfect place to do so! We had lots of space to spread out, went to sleep to the sound of waves and woke to watch the sea life on the sandy patio overlooking the Pacific. We walked to the pier multiple times and were surrounded with great places to eat. Thanks for a great stay!

We couldn’t have asked for a better place for our family vacation. The sandy beach was perfect for both relaxing and playing, and the ocean view was breathtaking. This home truly made our trip amazing!

The property was excellent. Location and view were perfect. It was close to both Carlsbad and Oceanside. Our host was great, made sure we knew to contact them if we needed anything. We did not, we had everything. it was a great stay and I would definitely return.

This was our second time staying in this unit. We were fortunate to have the sun out for sun bathing, and the warm weather made evening walks to the beach enjoyable. The unit was clean. Access was super easy. Guests might want to pack a lighter for the fire pit. We had to go buy one at the nearby gas station. Also, cellphone reception is weak. You will need to walk to the front of the building to make phone calls. Overall, we enjoyed our stay very much and will definitely return.

The refrigerator was broken and we ended having to throw away $120 worth of food. A chair broke and my kids almost got hurt. The sofa bed was broken. Lost half a day while waiting for the new refrigerator to be brought in. Showed a bbq grill in the pictures and they didn’t have one. Also the garage door key was missing.

Enjoyed the location. Property clean but a bit sparse with very limited paper goods (TP, paper towels, napkins etc). Only 1 wine glass which was surprising but okay. Internet was a bit spotty but we were able to make calls depending on where you were in the house. Communication with owner was great and check in and check out was easy. Great location right on the water.

Beautiful property! Sparkling clean! Spacious, airy! Could not ask for a better view or location! Walking distance to so many fun places! Only negative was there was no grill or firepit as was listed in the agreement.

We had an excellent stay. It is located in a generally central location of oceanside with many food options to the North or south. We loved having a garage to park in. For reference We drove a suburban and it fit with just a few inches to spare! The views of the ocean are great, and the sound of the waves is relaxing, however,just because the beach is right out the back porch it is rocky and not a place for kids to play at the beach. You will have to plan to go to another beach to get good sandy areas. For us we didnt mind taking the car to another spot. We walked to breakfast at SK's Donuts every morning. Highly recommended SKs for a yummy donut or breakfast sanwhich. The vacation rental home had everything we needed and offered a great place to retreat too after days of adventuring. Check in was easy and all the locks and codes worked perfectly. we had no issues and it was clean the master showeer is pretty fun too!!

Even better than the pictures! Very nice condo, great location, plenty of amenities. The view and sounds of the ocean are just incredible! We saw dolphins and seals playing from the patio.

Our lone disappointment was that there was no direct beach access as all the nearby concrete steps nearby have been destroyed by the ocean.

To be right in front of the ocean with no people on the beach/in the water, it was like being on a private beach. We were unable to access beach at low tide though, one would need to climb rocks to do so. Owner's bedroom had beautiful ocean view, as did the pull out sofa bed, so the other bedroom with two twin beds will probably not be used, no views. We stayed on the bottom floor, which actually had about 12 steep steps down to get to, but the shared sand area with BBQ and fire pit felt like a private space, as no one from 2nd or 3rd floor condos used the area, but they can. Private garage for the car was great. Condo was clean and had all the basic things needed, but bring your own ziplock bags, scissors, etc. for eating/leftovers, crafting. Our stay was in September and it was still warm during the day, but the ocean breeze, fans and air purifiers kept it quite comfortable! The pots and pans had self-straining lids -So great for pasta dishes!! A short drive down the street to access the public beach area by Oceanside Pier allowed my friend with broken foot a chance to get her feet wet!! We do recommend delivery Pizza by Two Bros from Italy! Watch out for Squirrely the Squirrel, he tries to get on the porch, lol! This place is So relaxing! We can't wait to book again and stay much longer next time!!!
