This one-bedroom villa sits on the second floor of the south side of Honua Kai's nine-story Hokulani Tower, a short walk from the elevator and, from there, the resort's pool slide and beachfront restaurant.

At 620 square feet inside and 145 square feet on the private lanai, the layout is efficient without feeling small: a king bed in the bedroom, a fully equipped kitchen for cooking in, and a partial ocean view from the lanai that opens up further once you're standing at the rail. Single-zone air conditioning and an in-unit washer and dryer round out the practical side of the villa, and a sofa sleeper in the living room brings total capacity to four for a couple traveling with guests.
