Historic Times-Picayune Building: Condo with Private Balcony in Downtown NOLA

We loved this property. The location was walking distance to most everything. I could briskly walk to the far end of the French Quarter or the Warehouse district in 15 minutes. So most places were even closer. If you prefer Uber, most everything was only $7 to $9 away. We never waited more than 2 minutes for a car. 3 large smart TV's... all you need are your streaming services passwords to login. Also has local cable. You will feel like a local in the condo. Great kitchen with all the amenities. Plenty of pillows, linens and towels. Beds and living room furniture are comfortable. Unit is on second floor and there is an elevator.

We really liked our stay here!! It was exactly as described. The owner was nice and had great communication. The location was perfect! Just far enough away from the hustle and bustle. The rooms were comfortable and we slept great because it was so quiet. The balcony was a plus!! We sat there in the morning and at night. Good people watching. Would definitely stay here again and recommend it! Thanks!!!

Location, location, location! Easy access to the Quarter, street cars and the interstate. Always love our stays in NOLA, but Times-Picayune property made this one great. Everything in the other reviews is true...place is clean and initially stocked. Weekends can get a little noisy on Camp St below, but rooms are super quiet and blacked out for good rest at night. Great communication from host and had a great time! Our next trip to NOLA, we will plan to stay at the Time-Picayune!

Everything was fantastic!The only thing the lady's where missing was a full scale mirror in the apartment except that everything was perfect!

It was fabulous! Very nice and so convenient to all the sites. Beds were so comfortable and clean. Love the balcony. I would definitely come back.

The location was perfect for walking to many places in the French Quarter and for getting on the streetcars. Quiet in the bedrooms. Recommendations from host were helpful.

The condo was well appointed, clean and perfect for our stay. Booking was easy, host was communicative and provided clear instructions as well as a nice list of local restaurants to try. Beds were comfortable with plenty of blankets. The balcony was a nice perk! Easy walk to Canal Street and the French Quarter and also to the Superdome. Thank you for a wonderful stay!

Everything was great! It was very clean and the kitchen was well supplied. The only thing we noticed was that the tv remote in the den must have a low battery because we used the remote in the bedroom. The bathrooms were well supplied with toothbrush and toothpaste, makeup remover. Great location. Would stay again

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this lovely lofted condo in NOLA. Very roomy and nice to each have your own bathroom. The beds are very comfortable, the kitchen well stocked with what you need to make your own meals and the host was extremely responsive to any questions or needs you have. The instructions to get into the building and other logistics were well communicated in advance. They also provided a great list of favorite restaurants. Location is excellent. Easy to walk to French Quarter and also to get the trolley into the Garden District. Would highly recommend.

This property was absolutely amazing!! After we drove seven hours to get to New Orleans from the Atlanta area, we arrived and loved the space, the amenities, the convenience to everywhere and everything! It was comfortable with beautiful exposed brick throughout the interior, floor to ceiling windows that open up to a balcony overlooking Camp Street and super comfy beds. I will definitely want to stay here again as I’m in New Orleans often to see my family. Thanks!!!

Our host, Brittanie, was wonderful and provided all of the information that we needed for a great stay. The condo is just beautiful and very spacious. We appreciated the cleanliness of the unit and its central location. It comes with a beautiful covered balcony for people watching and enjoying some outdoor time. It is located just above a lively nightclub and can be a little noisy, but honestly, it didn’t really bother our group of 4 adults- just something to keep in mind if you’re sensitive to that sort of thing. Overall, this was a great rental property that we would certainly love to visit again in the future.

Magnificent apartment just a few minutes walk from the French Quarter. High quality furnishings and equipment. First class. Host informative and responsive. Would stay here again.

Lovely place with a convenient location - had a great stay!

This unit is perfect for visiting the French Quarter, the WWII museum, the riverfront, and catching the trolley to the garden district. We were able to easily walk to all we wanted to do. Access to and from the airport via ride share was easy. No need for a vehicle. The unit was perfect for two couples. Very quiet for the most part. We chose to stay in on Saturday night and that turned out to be a bad idea. The downstairs bar/restaurant played heavy bass music at a bone vibrating level on Saturday. We were relieved that it stopped promptly at 10PM. All other nights it wasn’t an issue. Had we gone out on Saturday we might not have even known about the noise. I am adding it to the review because no one else has mentioned the noise from the downstairs. We would have planned dinner out and been less stressed if we had known the music would stop at such a reasonable time. Communication with the host was awesome and the unit was very clean and comfortable. Would definitely recommend this unit.

Not sure why anyone would ever stay at a hotel in NOLA when fantastic properties like this exist. The location was perfect. The unit was immaculately clean. The overall experience was 10 out of 10. I can’t recommend this place enough. You won’t be disappointed! We loved it!

We visited NOLA for Mardi Gras and had a blast! This condo was everything promised and more! The condo itself was beautiful and the location cannot be beat. The balcony was our favorite part! You could actually glimpse some of the floats on St XCcCarles Ave

Just like photos. Very nice. Close to French Qtr, WW2 museum, cruise terminal and other attractions. Property manager easy to work with and responsive when snow complicated getting to NOLA.

I just want to say my family loved our stay. The location is awesome. Easy access that’s walkable to so many areas. We were in town for my daughter’s cheer competition while celebrating my husband’s birthday and our anniversary. We were able to walk to Bourbon street, the casino and nice restaurants that were conveniently downstairs. I thought I had a problem with the lock and got in contact with the host who took no time at all to reply and helped me figure it out. They were very responsive whenever I reached out. Looking forward to visiting again and will definitely look to stay here again.

Great place…authentic New Orleans decor with walking proximity to everything!

There really wasn't anything not to like about this condo. Location was great. Near everything, but quiet for sleeping. High ceilings. Nice big patio. Beds pillows and sheets were very comfortable. All the amenities are upscale and well stocked kitchen. Will stay there next time we go to NoLa.

Great location in a very walkable city. No need to rent a car, we’re were able to get everywhere we wanted by walking. The balcony was awesome!

EXCELLENT choice for responsible adults traveling to New Orleans who want to be in the action, but not surrounded by the craziness of the French Quarter. Communication with hosts was excellent and property was as advertised; just short 5-minute walk to French Quarter, but still outside the main craziness (and thus MUCH easier to catch an Uber or streetcar to/from other parts of the city). Also walkable to lots of good restaurants, coffee shops, and a grocery.

The property is perfect. Just what we needed to end our amazing trip to Louisiana.
