Historic Downtown Apartment on Wright Square + Parking by Lucky Savannah

Shopping options were good. Kitchen setup was great. We wish the elevator was working. The trash pickup EVERY day was loud at 5am.

We had plenty of space and the apartment was huge, compared to a hotel room. The pictures were a little misleading, as it wasn't as bright as shown, but the apartment itself was full of old time charm and so much fun! It was clean and had plenty of modern features. It was in a great, central Savannah location. This is an excellent property if you are visiting the area with family/children.

Very unique old building with fireplace in almost all the rooms, only complaint was the hardwood floors needed washed/moped . But was walking distance to River street and much more.

The apartment was in a great location close to everything. Beautiful old world charm and very clean. At night/early morning it was noisy with people talking as walked through park and street. Not good for families with children, steep stairs. Elevator worked at first but then it wouldn’t go up from the parking in alley, no key for gate in back, and back doors had no codes for electronic locks. Had to walk all the way around the front of building to enter/exit. After raining had a few bugs (roaches) crawling in dining room.

Excellent location!! Steps away from Bull St and Broughton, a very short walk to River street.

We had a great weekend at this property! The location can’t be beat— just about everything is walkable and the restaurants/bars/shopping/tours were all very easily accessible. The beds were comfy and the rental was spacious. Notably— our sheets and towels were fresh, but there was some trash and rhinestones left in the kitchen from the group before us. Smarts tvs and WiFi, but a few of the tvs did not connect (not a big deal, since we were out most of our stay). Hot water was HOT! Which is a huge plus. The only real downside was that the church across the square has bells that chime every 15 minutes from 8am-8pm LOUDLY and there are people who gather in the park and talk late into the night (3am) and start early in the morning (5-6am). Overall, a great experience

Group of Boston Irish enjoyed more than just the weather in Savannah this St Paddy's Day. Our VRBO was in a perfect location to engage with the parade right in front of us. We also loved the historical features maintained in the apartment. Great location off Bull St for exploring historical sights and buildings, for access to City Market, and for escaping to the waterfront.

Loved staying here. Perfect location. Everything was great!

This place is a walk up

We stayed two nights and you can not beat the location. Central to everything so we were able to walk the entire trip. The unit was clean and spacious. As others have noted, there was a lot of street noise.

The steps are shown in pictures of the unit. At 76, I have mobility issues but for a younger group, this rental is ideal.

Only complaint was we were able to hear the third floor moving around all night and if you have a rowdy crowd on the third floor, you hear all the yelling and banging. Management was very quick to respond and resolve issues though. Great location!

Reviewer Comments: This is a charming, spacious apartment in THE best location to enjoy historic downtown Savannah.The housekeeping was good (clean linens and surfaces). It could stand for a good deep clean and small maintenance fixes. Leaking sink faucets, bent fold-out couch. Housekeeping should also vacuum better and dust the walls, especially in the bathrooms. Overall it was very spacious and we walked everywhere! Bring earplugs and a sleep mask as it is right on a square near a church with bells!
