Welcome to Crystal’s See the Sea Condo, a beautifully updated 2-bedroom, 2-bath condo located directly on the boardwalk in Pacific Beach, just steps from the iconic Crystal Pier. Remodeled in late 2022, this home features refreshed bathrooms, updated kitchen appliances, and new living room furnishings for a comfortable and modern beach stay.

If you want to be a part of all the action in PB, then this is the place to be! This condo is located in the See the Sea oceanfront complex, so nothing separates you from the beach except the boardwalk and soft white sand—putting the ocean, surf, and coastal energy right outside your door.

Located in the heart of Pacific Beach, you’ll be surrounded by restaurants, cafés, shops, and nonstop beach activity. The private balcony (corner view, not directly oceanfront) offers a lively outlook over the boardwalk and ocean—perfect for morning coffee or sunset drinks with built-in entertainment. If you enjoy people watching, then look no further!

>>Please note: This condo is located in a very active area with nearby bars and restaurants, so some nighttime noise should be expected. To help minimize this, the condo is equipped with double-paned windows and doors. On warmer nights, we recommend renting a portable A/C unit to keep the space cool while keeping windows closed; portable fans are also available in the closets for added comfort. We additionally provide white noise machines and earplugs. Due to the potential for nighttime noise, this property may not be ideal for families with young children or light sleepers. Opening the doors and windows allows for a wonderful sea breeze, but noise levels will be noticeably higher when they are open. We encourage guests to review prior guest feedback and reach out with any questions to ensure this property is a good fit for your group.

This first-floor condo sits above the gated parking garage and is accessible by elevator. Inside, the open California-style kitchen includes new appliances, a breakfast bar with seating for four, and flows into the dining and living areas. The dining table seats 4–6 guests and can be moved to allow the Murphy bed to open for additional sleeping space.

• Booking Process: After booking, you must complete our electronic rental agreement and an identity verification to access your guest portal. Check-in details, including a custom door code and property information, are available in the portal after all requirements are completed.
• Seasonal Policies: We have minimum stay requirements that vary by season.
Summer (Memorial Day–Labor Day): 5 night minimum, no arrivals on July 4th (Independence Day)
Holidays: 5-night minimum. A single reservation cannot span both Christmas and New Year's unless it is 14+ nights. No arrivals/departures on Independence Day, Thanksgiving, Christmas, or New Year's Day.
• Check-In/Out: Check-in is 3 p.m. (4 p.m. in summer). Check-out is 11 a.m.
• Property Note: This is a privately owned vacation home. Furnishings and decor may occasionally be updated and differ slightly from the photos.
• Pet Policy: Pets are NOT permitted.
• Rate Policy: Rates fluctuate daily. Pricing at the time of booking is the confirmed rate.
• Age Policy: We typically do not rent to guests under 25 or to large groups. Please contact us prior to booking if your group requires an exception.
• Climate Control: The condo does not have central A/C. It is equipped with electric wall heaters for cooler evenings and enjoys a wonderful ocean breeze. Portable a/c units are available for an additional fee.
• Laundry: Coin-operated laundry machines are conveniently located across the hall from the unit for your use.
• Beach Gear Provided: We provide a variety of beach accessories, including beach chairs, a beach umbrella, and boogie boards!
• Starter Kit: We provide a starter supply of paper towels, toilet paper, soap, and detergents. All linens, bath towels, and beach towels are also included.
• Traveling with Children: Baby equipment, including a pack ‘n play, high chair, and crib, is available to rent for your convenience. Please inquire for details.

We recommend a car for ease of getting around, but public transportation (city bus) is available nearby.

    Only complaint is the front door entrance was very difficult to open after code was entered. Master bathroom door would not latch and bedroom door sticks. The ocean view from the patio was sensational watching the sunset. Property itself does not have an ocean view but is right on the boardwalk steps from the sand. No air conditioning and like so many other reviews the noise from two bars right next to it went on till 2:00 am and prevented us from opening windows at night. Would definitely stay here again. For senior citizens the process to book was a little difficult.

    This property is not air conditioned. The listing is very misleading. We were charged an additional 500/week to add portable room air conditioners to the bedrooms and the living areas and bathrooms were not air conditioned.The condo and location are great otherwise, but we would not have rented a unit without A/C for a two week stay in August.

    The check in process was confusing because I didn’t receive an email with information until I requested it. However, when we did receive it, The email was very thorough and helpful.The location to the beach was nice and they had beach chairs, boogie boards. Beach toys and beach towels for us to use. We also appreciated the hot tub. Being able to park in a gated garage was more worth it than we thought. There is a bar across the street that gets noisy, but the hosts provide ear plugs if needed. We played white noise on our phone and it helped. This was the only negative thing I can think of.We were a family of 7 and used every bed.

    This location is amazing as it's basically right on the beach and within walking distance to essentially everything you need. It is extremely noisy at night as both windows face bars that are open until 2 A.M. plus the stragglers after they close. They do warn you about the noise and they are serious. My suggestion would be to pay the extra for the air conditioners to drown out the noise and so you don't have to open the windows. Parking is extremely convenient, and the communication is excellent. Even though it was extremely noisy to all hours of the night, I would stay again and try the air conditioners with the windows closed.

    Great remodeled unit. Nice location. Just beware unit is right on the end so you get all the noise from the bars and street. Cant leave windows open at night.

    The listing says it has AC but only if you pay extra for plug in units. Since this is an expensive place I was not going to pay extra for AC that they advertised! Thats a bate and switch and is probably illegal. This area is extremely loud- with 2 night clubs one on either side within FEET of our window and blasting music and bass until 1-2am. With no AC. you have to leave all the windows open and this makes the noise impossible to sleep. They also advertise a hot tub which looked like no one had been near it for 10 years - wouldn't set foot in it. False advertising and horrible stay. Families should NOT stay here. The building is run down and not very clean. The condo itself was fine but not worth the money we paid. I would not recommend this place. We could not sleep and that affected the entire trip. VRBO should not work with Nancy's vacation - they lied on the listing.

    See the Sea was a fantastic place. Right on the beach with amazing views and right in the center of all the SD fun. Everything you need is within walking distance. The place was clean and very spacious. Lots of beach toys for every age. The only potential issue that is beyond the capacity of the owners to take care of is because the location is in the heart of it all, it is loud, especially at night. For us it wasn't an issue. We kept the windows closed and the fans on and slept like babies. But for kids or actual babies, the noise might be a bit much. It is very manageable and worth it to be right in the center of it all. We would stay there again in a heartbeat and recommend it to anyone wanting the full San Diego experience!

    booked last December did not get a ocean front room, got a 1st floor room and the bar across the street was so loud at night hard to sleep. Hot tub was filthy with visible mold

    I loved this place. The condo was in a great location and was very nice! I loved the tile in the bathroom it was so fun. Everything was clean and it was next to the beach and the condo came stocked with chairs, towels, boogie boards, sand toys, coolers. Everything you need for an awesome day at the beach.
