I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Overall, good. However, unit had a musty smell and upstairs bedroom was hot (there is only a downstairs thermostat) and desperately needs the ceiling fan replaced. It is very loose and squeaked.

Stayed Sep 12, 2024Not as clean as our previous trips. Hair on kitchen counter, bathroom sinks, living room carpet, etc. When plugged in the electrical grill on the patio, the circuit breaker got overloaded, we were unable to use the grill.

Stayed Jul 23, 2023Harbour Oaks is a great place to stay near the village on SSI. It's also a quick walk, bike or golf cart ride to other side of the Isle--King and Prince area and East Beach. The condo overlooked the stream that runs through the complex so that you can see the turtles. The furniture was cozy and there are two master suites (in addition to a third bedroom), so ideal for two couples to share with kids. Dog friendly, too! The only down side was that the porch is so teeny (and access to it is blocked by the sofa) that it's really not a place you can sit. There are benches throughout the complex, so we were able to hang out there for a drink in the eve.
