Stay right in the heart of downtown Savannah at Habersham 2, a two-story spacious apartment in the historic Paul Hamilton Williams House, built in 1791. This home offers classic charm in an urban setting. This historic property has been professionally decorated by Tybee Vacation Rentals with premium guest comfort in mind.

Habersham 2 features 2 bedrooms and 1 and a half baths. This historic, 2 Story apartment has a unique spiral staircase that connects the interior spaces. On the upper floor, there is a spacious living room with plenty of comfortable seating and a 55 Smart HDTV. The kitchen is equipped with an apartment-sized refrigerator and freezer (no ice maker in the freezer) a stove and oven, a microwave oven, and a dishwasher. There is a combination coffee maker, so coffee lovers will enjoy having the choice of regular drip coffee or Keurig single cup coffee. There is an eat-in kitchen bar top table that has seating for 4 with additional seating for 2 at a cafe table on the attached porch. There is also a half bath powder room on this level.

The lower level of the property, which is on the ground level, has direct access to the parking area from the Queen room which is extra convenient for when for loading and unloading luggage. This level hosts both of the bedrooms. The first bedroom has a king-size bed and TV; the second bedroom has a Queen bed with a TV. The bathroom, located just off the hall, has a tub and shower combination. Guests will feel the rich history on this level which features original brick walls which also helps to keep the rooms cool in the summer and cozy in the winter. A utility closet with a stacked washer and dryer is also located on this level off of the King bedroom.

The main entrance to the apartment is located on the second floor, and there is a second entrance on the ground level. Wireless Internet/WIFI is available for guest use. There are raised inflatable queen and twin beds available at the home for extra sleeping. 1 car off-street parking only. This rental is not pet-friendly. Note: Fireplaces are sealed and non-working, but they add to the ambiance! Also, the interior spiral staircase is very narrow and also not recommended for people with mobility issues.

    Not family friendly, The location was convenient, but unfortunately the property didn’t feel safe or well-maintained. There were homeless individuals right next to the outside air unit and even a liquor bottle left on the porch. The doors had loose locks and visible gaps letting in daylight, which made us uncomfortable—especially with teenagers. It was also quite noisy late at night with neighbors yelling and banging around the next door unit at 3 a.m. The place was dusty, the bathroom and shower curtain weren’t very clean, and we noticed some insects. The downstairs A/C also struggled to keep things cool. With a few safety and cleanliness improvements, this could be a much better stay. Would not recommend for families with children. Adults only.

    The walkability from this location is amazing. We were able to reach all the places we were interested in and we able to go back and forth from the place and things we were doing. We really enjoyed the home as well!!

    Great location - walking distance to everything. Decor was Fun... beds were great! You don't have to carry bags down to the bedrooms door downstairs. Not as noisy as some streets in Sav.. we will be back... Thank you!

    We really enjoyed our stay in Savannah. This property is just few blocks from Broughton St and right across from River. You can literally walk everywhere from here. It was very comfortable with nice beds and furniture. The kitchen is suitable for breakfast and lunch, which we used it for. As great as it is, there are a few problems here, however. First, if you have vertigo or have any walking issues, this is not the place for you. The floors are heavily pitched, which wasn't a problem for us, but could be for older people or those with vertigo. The same goes for the circular staircase. My kids hated the fact that there is a door to the outside in their bedroom. It made them very uncomfortable, even though it was double locked. Finally, the road noise is horrible. Early morning (5am) you start hearing the traffic on Bay St. It is loud enough to wake you and keep you up. The windows are so poor that they don't keep any of the noise out. You can hear everything, even clear conversations as people walk by. It's like they are right there in the room with you. If it weren't for the noise, I would give this place 5 stars. It was that bad that it lost a star because of it.

    The apartment was as advertised, and yes, that spiral staircase is narrow! Charming, especially the exposed brick walls in the bedrooms. LOTS of traffic noise, which we got used to. That is because, the POSITIVE is the location!!! We never moved our car, walked everywhere easily. Great coffee/breakfast place virtually next door, Riverside 1 block over. Would definitely book again!

    Considerable street noise from nearby Bay St. Unfortunately, while we were there, party of women that were up all night partying ea. nite - no regard for others at our rental. This property had a 3rd party property management. Were not real responsive to issues like an owner might be.
