Gull Reef 626 is a fantastic condo that features a partial side ocean view from the private balcony and is located at Tybee Island’s only truly oceanfront condominium resort. The Beachside Colony Resort has two pools and a popular beachfront restaurant, The Deck Beach Bar and Kitchen.

Relax and enjoy this beautiful condo, that has been completely remodeled and redecorated with all new coastal decor. Enjoy this end unit with tons of natural light, and a side view of the ocean. Itmakes it the perfect getaway for families, or girls' getaway! The large window seat will be one of your favorite spots to relax with a good book. The condo has an open floor plan and has a furnished balcony. The dining area has seating for 6, and seating for 3 at the breakfast bar. The kitchen has been updated and has all new appliances, and fixtures and includes a stacked washer and dryer.

The renovated primary suite is furnished with a King and has an attached bath with a walk-in shower with beautiful tile and a corner seat. The two guest bedrooms are furnished with a Queen size bed in one and 2 twins in the second. Each bedroom includes a TV/DVD. The all-new, beautiful hall bathroom features wave tile in the tub/shower combination. You will know you are at the beach!

WIFI/High-speed internet access is available for guest use in this condo. Walking distance to restaurants, library, YMCA, and Memorial Park. Parking for 2. NOTE: Larger SUVs may not fit in parking space- especially during peak/ high seasons.

Beachside Colony has just completed an all-new expansion of the pool and patio area. Enjoy 2 brand new pools, one with a beach entry tanning ledge, all-new restrooms, and lots of space for guests to enjoy soaking in the sunshine on beautiful Tybee Island!

Beachside Colony offers pool heat between the months of October-March. Pool heat is available in one pool only and is heated based on weather and mechanics and is not a guaranteed amenity.

    Amazing place! As advertised. Will need a parking permit, so upon arrival call the guest services number provided and they’re direct you to where the permit is located.

    Beds were very old and saggy. Heavy Mildew on the shower curtains. Balcony door was missing the handle and no way to lock. Screen was also missing from the screen door.For as much as they charge i would expect good beds, pillows and a secure locking door.

    Gulf Reef was a perfect fit for our family vacation! First, the location was amazing! Just the listing said, it was steps from the beach & we could see the ocean ftom our balcony. Bonus- the chair & umbrella rentals were right there at our beach entrance. Next, the condo it self was extremely clean and had hotel level service for linens and towels. The kitchen was fully equipped with everything you would need to cook and it was labeled!! The furniture was comfortable, well taken care of, and the window seat was my girls favorite spot. Even though the condo is in the back and faces the road, it was very quiet and most of the bedrooms are not on that side. The complex where the condo is located has a great restaurant called the Deck Bar- highly recommend for wonderful food, and fabulous drinks. Tybee Island is also only 30 minutes from Savannah and very easy to drive in and out of the city!Finally, communication about the condo, and checking in & out were very clear and timely. If our family ever makes it back to the Savannah area, we would love to rent this again or any property from Tybee Vacation Rentals.

    Overall experience was great. Nice location with lots to offer and short walk to the beach. Bathrooms could use some hooks in the shower and bathroom for wash clothes and towels. Would be nice if location offered beach chairs as well.

    Everything was good with one exception. The mattress in the master bedroom had a terrible sag in it. We did not sleep well. I recommended to the rental agency to replace it. Hopefully they did.

    Loved the condo! It’s a corner unit, so it gets tons of natural light! Very spacious, and it’s a short walk to the beach! Since it’s on the north end of the island, it’s also much quieter at night. Great place for a family beach trip!

    Overall the experience was good. We loved having the pool and beach access right there. The condo wasn’t the cleanest. The floors were pretty dirty, and the kitchen table had dried food on it. I assume from the previous occupants. If we walked around the condo without shoes, our feet would be so filthy. We had to purchase a swiffer to keep the floors clean. It would’ve been nice to have that provided since there was a broom provided and mop bucket. Overall, we did enjoy our stay. If fit our family perfectly! I would stay her again!
