Gulf-view Pointe West condo with pools, hot tubs, central AC & washer/dryer

Nice condo with beautiful ocean view. We are very disappointed no one told us the lazy River pool was closed. We would not have stayed there if we had known.

Everything was good, but the location was about 30 minutes away from Galveston.

Came down for the weekend with some friends. Condo was comfortable and clean. We will definitely be back this summer.

The property was just as pictured and was enjoyable. My favorite was the patio - great views and loved the Adirondack chairs/gliders. Everything was clean and comfortable. Perfect place to re-charge and finish out the year strong.

The rooms were all clean and when we checked in the AC had the space nice and cool! Perfect these summer nights in Texas! Loved the porch view of the beach for a sunrise in the morning!

The condo was spacious and clean, the proximity to the beach and pool was perfect for our trip. The check in and check out process was easy. The kitchen offered everythng we needed and communication with management was quick. The only issue was the email for receiving the pool wristbands came the morning after I checked in, so we missed a night at the pool. I would definitely book again!!!

Our extended family and friends (40 this year) meet at Pointe West every 4th of July week. This condo was beautifully furnished with a light, beach feel, had everything we needed for a wonderful, relaxing and enjoyable stay. Owners communicated all relevant information and the whole process was smooth. Looking to book this same condo next year.

Loved the property and decor of the condo. The ac works great!!!

The property if gorgeous. The elevator worked during our stay. My only complaint is that the lazy river and heated pool are 1/2 mile walk or you can take the golf carts.

The place is very clean and the beds are super comfortable. Several teflon pans are scratched and need replaced so just letting the owners know. But other than that everything was perfect. Already planning to come back next year. The ocean view from the patio. Was a bonus

Nice condo and great pool

This was such a great place to stay on our trip-- the house had everything we needed and was perfectly located. The only thing that could have made the stay better would be less mosquitoes, but other than that everything was amazing.

This property is amazing. The condo was everything we had hoped it would be. The biggest issue was the condo is on the third floor and both when we arrived and the day we left, the elevator was not working. We stayed for 2 week so we brought a lot of stuff (a full truck bed full as well as a trailer full) including all of our food for 2 weeks. Because the elevator was out, that meant we had to carry all of the items we brought up AND down 3 floors. To say it was a beating is an understatement. The night we got there it was just myself, my husband and my daughter. It was brutal.

Really nice place. Beds were comfy. The rental is close to the club house and pool so easy walk to get there.

Elevator was not working so we hesitate going back . Patio has a good view and the house is cozy.

We recently stayed at the Pointe West Perfection Condo, and it was perfect for our weekend getaway! The ocean views right from the living room and patio are stunning. The kitchen is well-stocked, making it easy to prepare meals and the private electric grill on the patio was a huge highlight! The beds were comfortable, ensuring restful nights. The balcony is perfect for enjoying morning coffee or evening cocktails, the patio furniture was in perfect condition! The location is unbeatable—just steps away from the beach club and a short drive to the lazy river pool. Vacasa was very responsive and helpful, making the entire experience smooth and enjoyable. We have stayed at several Pointe West condos over the years and this was our favorite! Overall, we can't recommend Pointe West Perfection Condo enough. The name says it all.. it’s truly perfection at Pointe West. We can't wait to return!

This top floor 3/2 was perfect for our family. Location is very close to the main pool/beach club. We found the walk to the beach to be a bit much for the younger kids and ended up driving east a few miles to drive into the beach.

This is the 4th year in a row that I have stayed at Pointe West. This was our least favorite property that we've stayed in. The positive, is the location, which is close to the Beach Club. The unit was clean but needs some maintenance and refreshing of kitchen supplies. One amenity we loved about this unit is the grill on the deck. Unfortunately, it has not been cleaned in forever and the cleaning brush they had was unusable. The main issue was the AC. When we arrived the unit was 90 degrees. We did call and they were responsive the first day. Someone came out but not till 6:30 so we were unable to have dinner in the unit. I was told it was fixed but the unit didn't cool down until 4 am. My kids room was so unbearable the first night they had to sleep in my room. We had issues with the AC the rest of the trip with us coming back in the afternoon to a unit that was 80 degrees and it always taking until way after midnight to start getting down to a reasonable temperature. After the first day the local contact didn't even reply to my texts and the main guest services just stated a maintenance request was put in. It put a damper on our trip as I was concerned about the AC and everyone being able to sleep at night the whole time. We had the option of getting a late check-out at 2 pm, which we did. We got to the unit about 1:15 to change and get our belongings to find out the code was changed and we were therefore locked out. It took 25 minutes to finally get in.

Great location, beautiful furnishings, lots of room to maneuver, it’s got it all.
