Stayed Apr 4, 2023This was our 3rd stay at Paradise Shores. Each time in a different unit. We enjoyed them all.

Stayed Mar 27, 2023First, the pictures of the property are accurate, but the actual property is larger than the pictures can portray and we were very pleased. It's in a great location, and although near the main road, is almost soundproif from traffic, or other renters' noise. The property is very clean, and the property managers were very responsive. Everything was working properly, with a few wifi hookups, probably due to rain in the area and easily remedied with a re-boot. Our only surprise was there are no kitchen condiments or coffee provided; many VRBO properties are amply supplied with such. Would also suggest adding hairdryer on list of items to bring as one is not supplied.

Stayed Mar 16, 2023Property was well maintained and clean. Right across the street from beach and very close to Killer Seafood. Only negative was the canal right next to condo, looked nasty. Parking underneath building was very convenient, kept you out of the weather. Would stay there again. The sliding barn door to master bathroom did come off the track with normal use, too heavy for me to put back on.

Stayed Sep 17, 2022It was strange to us that check in was central time zone but check out was eastern time zone. There was a standard coffee pot in the room. However, the blender had no pitcher, therefore unusable. The view of the beach was awesome even though not oceanfront. The condo was very nice - clean and beautiful. The kitchen had only bare minimum pots, pans and small appliances. Beds and pillows were very comfortable. No beach chairs or beach buggy. Very short walk to the beach. Just across a not so busy street. Receptist was nice but not very informative. Didn’t give us instructions on gate entrance and we had to go back to the office to find out the fob on the key chain was to be used for the gates. All in all a nice place to stay. We would stay again.

Stayed Jul 18, 2022Very spacious, comfortable, and well equipped. Has a good view of the beach. Only suggestion would be to add some sort of shades or drapes over doors to balcony. Sunlight at some times during the day was brutal with nothing to block it.

Stayed Mar 26, 2022The rental was larger than I expected. The living/dining room furniture could use an update or some tightening of screws. The location was perfect, directly across the street from the beach. Heed the warning to bring your own stuff. There is one motel 6 style towel per person, no dish cloth (there is a sponge). There is as also no tissues, no dish soap (one dishwasher packet).

Stayed Oct 2, 2021A very relaxing enjoyable stay. Excellent accommodations directly across from the beach. Easy access getting to the beach as well as a nice view of the beach, and even though our condo was on the side we had excellent views of the evening sunsets and listening to the waves as they washed ashore in the evening quite.

Stayed Sep 8, 2021We love Mexico Beach and vacation there every year. However with several frustrations at this condo, we will probably not stay here again. Apparently the condo installed a new security gate this year. We weren't told about it or how to use the key fob to access it. Maybe I'm just not familiar with key fobs to begin with. But we've stayed here before and this was brand new this year. We were parked at an entrance for about 20 minutes in a thunderstorm, in and out of our cars trying to figure out how to access the gate. We didn't have a key code and there weren't instructions on our check-in paper. After getting in touch with someone and being soaked we were given the code over the phone. They explained to us that we wave the fob in front of the keypad to access the building and the elevators. We also went to leave the parking deck once and the gate pole didn't raise and let us out. So someone had to get out and go around to the keypad and enter the code for the gate to lift. So that was frustrating. We love to cook most of our meals in the condo. This particular one had minimal pots, pans, etc. Maybe 1 of each item. So if you cook a good bit I would maybe pack extra cookware. The last two instances were with people who apparently live in the condo. This is probably our main reason for not booking here in the future. My brother saw an alligator in the canal one morning and tossed some food to it. We aren't from Florida and didn't realize it was illegal. This couple begins yelling at us from their balcony. When they scream that it's illegal to feed an alligator, we immediately stop of course. But a couple hours later when we got on the elevators this couple had posted flyers in all the elevators telling everyone if they see us feeding alligators to call the police. It was so embarrassing. The 2nd encounter with residents was when we went to the pool our last night. We brought down a glass of wine. When we arrived and sat at a table we saw that a large group of older people were at another table obviously very drunk and disorderly. We didn't mind because they were on the other side of the pool. They are screaming and shouting to people from the pool area to the beach area. Then one of these older men walk over to us and inform us we aren't allowed to have glass in the pool area. He says they all live there and he doesn't want us breaking the rules. We apologize & take it back to the room, come back down, and these people have glass beer bottles.
