An initial Benchmark signature box of amenities is provided for all guests. For the kitchen this includes: 1 roll of paper towels, 1 dish sponge, 1 dish soap, 2 dishwasher pods, 1 pack of kitchen wipes and liners for each trashcan plus 2 washing machine pods. For each bathroom it includes: 1 roll of toilet paper, 1 set of facial and bath soaps/body wash/shampoo/conditioner/lotion. For towels you will receive: 1 body towel/1 washcloth per guest and 2 hand towels per bathroom.

    Rating Details: The property manager was somewhat unhelpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Location and property beautiful on outside and initial inspection . Problems within, no response to issues found within unit until days later. Unfortunately staff onsite unable to rectify problems locally without authorization from Benchmark. Many phone calls made to Benchmark- agents located offshore- English is second language ( not sure if problems and severity were properly handled by offshore staff)not efficient way to handle onsite property issues. Refrigerator didn’t cool below 43degrees, tv in master bedroom didn’t work for a few days, sliding barn doors in master bath kept falling off hinges. Much time spent on phone with Benchmark trying to explain deficiencies with the unit, advised a ticket was submitted and was routed to manager for approval. Technicians did come assess the problems, no follow up if working or not. Very dissatisfied with Benchmark response or lack of to customer issues . We’ve stayed at Sand Cliffs many times previously and never had issues like this. Of course there was an onsite office able and authorized to address customer concerns. One last thing, snakes spotted on patio and black water bugs spotted inside unit by washer/ dryer. The dorm room refrigerator was not a good substitute for a full size refrigerator for a family of 6- resulting in many restaurant meals purchased due to food safety concerns.

    Beautiful remodeled condo. Love the large table that everyone can sit together for a meal. Door separating living area from bedrooms which is nice with small children or privacy for those sleeping. Plenty of room. Very comfortable. Perfect location - next to the pool - close to the stairs to the beach and a great grass area for the kids to run and play in. Convenient to parking also. Highly recommend!

    Advertised with high speed internet and cable. Neither functioning upon arrival. Spent a half day waiting for the Benchmark Property Mgmt tech to try to fix something he knew the cable company would have to fix, only to be unable to resolve. Inflexible, unaccommodating management company couldn't have cared less we both had to work remotely and spent 2/4 days at Starbucks working as a result. Refused to offer even a breadcrumb of a discount for our troubles. Horrible.

    We rented this location for two weeks. Excellent location and couldn’t be any closer to the beach. Very nice and convenient pool, and great for kiddies. Comfortable condo and ideal for families; however, I’ve stayed in other condos in this dry same development, and this one needs a facelift and many upgrades for sure. It’s decorated like the Roper’s apartment in “Three’s Company,” - 70s. Just needs an overhaul. Needs pot holders, kitchen just isn’t well stocked, and we found bugs and a few roaches in the bedrooms. Bedding/covers looked 10 years old….not very inviting. Back door sticks…hard for kids and wife to slide the door open, old plastic-faded patio furniture….I’m more happy to pay the price (or more) and loved the location….BUT owners need to step it up a bit.

The place was sparse, meaning you could tell furniture had been taken out or older furniture put in.

Location is wonderful too, i.e. away from the crowds at Rosemary, but close enough to get to the HUB, Seaside, or anywhere you need to go. Beach is clean and just steps away from our back door. Hopefully we can book again next year!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Our time at Sandcliffs was wonderful! Our unit was spacious and comfortable with a beautiful view of the Gulf. The only drawback was the dryer in the unit. The dryer needs to be replaced ASAP because the filter is rusted out and has holes in it so the lint is piling up and that is a fire hazard.
