Gulf-front, first-row condo with pools, great view & balcony - steps to beach

We really enjoyed this condo! I will return!

We love the condo, what we do NOT smoke and this is second that when we opened the door all we could smell it. And there was the ashtray again! Alllllll of our clothes STINK! We tried last summer and same thing. We love this place, but last year y’all that is was glue on the new floors. Apparently, last year was cigarettes, and this trip. I’ve coughed all week. I didn’t call because I assumed since what still there all we could smell. It’s a perfect place, but not with all of things have to be washed. Hopefully yall make it right, because we have rented several times from on the Island. We are good people and take of the temperature, take out the garage, make sure everything is as it was when we them. Thank you!

Home was nice. The only complaint we have is looking forward to a night in the hot tub and it not working.

I've stayed at Casa del Mar many times, but my first time in this unit. Most other units have 2 bunk beds, but this one only had one, which wa fine for my family. The pull out sofa was uncomfortable to sleep on, but the queen sized bed ij the bedroom was great! Thus little condo is tidy, has a great view of the seawall and there are even board games to play with. We didn't cook, but there are a few pots, pans and dishes. The fridge is a good size and the microwave is an added convenience. The walls are thin so you can hear your neighbors, but the noise seemed to quiet down around 11pm.

Our place was what we expected. Had everything but heat. There was no furnace! We were gone sightseeing during the day but evening was a bit chilly. We used the oven as our heater. We called on Tuesday and when we left Friday- still no response.

We have stayed in this complex before and loved it. Wanted to come back so rented a different condo. The bed was too soft. The sheets came off because the topper slid to one side every night. Woke up with back aches. One barstool was about to fall apart.The couch was the most uncomfortable couch. There weren’t any wash cloths or anything to wash dishes with. Had to buy my own. The balcony was the only place we could get comfortable. The view was great. We thought there was a tub but there’s not.

Everything was exactly as described in the listing. The amenities were in great condition and the view was awesome.

I’m very dissatisfied with the accommodations here. #1. Couldn’t get in room upon arrival due to not being given a good code. Had to wait over and hour for someone to come let me in. I was told I would be contacted the next day about getting a second key, but I never was. #2. Hardly any water pressure in bathroom sink. #3. No wash cloths. Was told they were short on linens, but this was a 5 night stay and still none. I went and purchased my own. 4 the sliding patio door handle is broken. I scraped my back on the piece that is just hanging there. Also the child with me scraped her finger when trying to open it. very dissatisfied

We enjoyed the rental cleanliness, location, and the property overall. There were some maintenance issues, right away the first day, and getting them addressed took some time, which did feel like it took away from my vacation experience, so if we discovered any other minor things, I waited until the night before to inform the contact, since we worked with whatever or without it.
