Stayed Oct 3, 2025The overall stay was fine. The beach and pool area were exactly as promised. The room had several issues that did take away from the overall experience. The largest issue was the bed. It was very uncomfortable and hard. The air conditioning worked but the humidity was very high in the rooms. The main living area was very cramped and the couch was also uncomfortable to sit on (springs could be felt).

Reviewer Comments: We had multiple days of construction noise, but we understand the hurricanes have hit things hard in this area. It wasn't enjoyable how often and early the workers were on-site, including on Saturday. There were also multiple worker arguments we could hear throughout the days. We did enjoy the place and would return once construction is completed.

I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Wife and I rented a 1 BR suite in Silver Sands Resort on Longboat Key. This is the second time we have stayed at this resort. We love the location and the proximity to the beach. My wife loves walking the beach and looking for seashells. One evening, we got to watch newly hatched sea turtles scrambling down the beach to the water. It was amazing! Room had everything we needed for a long weekend. I like to cook, so my only complaint was that the knives in the kitchen were as dull as butter knives. We will definitely be back.
