Gulf-front condo at Pointe West with 2 pools, spas & beach access

Beautiful place and view of the gulf! It was perfect for our family. Condo was very well stocked and very well kept up. We would stay there again

Neither pool nor hot tub was heated and gym was closed. We were not happy about that. The condo was nice with a good view of gulf.

This is my 4th summer at pointe west. It’s truly an oasis in Texas. It’s become my happy place! This condo has the most spectacular views of all the condos I’ve rented there. The location is amazing too! The one downside was the amount of dust on everything. It’s a parent. The unit is not truly being cleaned properly.

Beautiful complex! Great pools! Beach is amazing! The condo has everything you need! Price can’t be beat, was expecting a condo that was not so nice based on the price, but it is a beautiful vacation home. Will be back!!

We enjoyed our stay. There was enough room for all 8 of us. The direct access to the beach was great and the pools were nice!

Very clean condo and spacious. Very nice manicured grounds on the property and nice pool area.

We fell in love with this property and specifically this unit. Decor was updated and clean. Well appointed. Loved the giant balcony overlooking the ocean. The property's amenities of the private pool, restaurant and bar were great. The short walk to the beach was the cherry on top. Will be back and in this unit!

We had everything we needed at this condo! It was bright, clean, and had lots of space for our family. We loved the quick access to the beach club pool and beach. Had beach toys and chairs to take down with us. The lazy river pool wasn’t very far at all and also lots of fun!

We had high expectations and were not disappointed!

The condo itself is very nice, located in a nice resort with plenty of amenities. Had no issues with check in or anything else. Only downfall if any is nearest restaurants are about 25 minutes, so stock up on your groceries and snacks and enjoy. Will definitely stay again.

Couldn’t have asked for a better view! We enjoyed the amenities and easy access to the beach and pools. Would definitely book again!

Loved this location? The view and vicinity to the beach and beach club were perfect! The rental company could be better with a few things (better with cleaning and small things like dead batteries in all of the remotes and no parking access like promised) but besides that I would stay at this property again.

Beds were comfortable. Kitchen had enough supply we were able to cook a spaghetti dinner one night. We loved the amenities. We used both pools, used the walkway to the beach where we practically had the place to ourselves. It was nice to have access to showers when walking back from the beach. Only negative to our entire weekend were the mosquitoes. Def bring your mosquito spray, they are pretty bad in Sept!!

The location was phenomenal along with the booking process and customer service.

The condo itself was very nice, updated and well equipped. The view was beautiful. The beach was nice and clean. The property grounds needed attention. Grass was high. Sidewalks dirty. The mosquitoes swarmed every time we stepped outside. The elevator didn’t work. Grandparents trucking little ones and all the things up to the second floor was difficult. The a/c in the restaurant didn’t work. These outages were not relayed to us upon booking. The property manager wasn’t very responsive when messaged with questions. We were told we could have late check out for a “fee” I asked several times about the fee. Didn’t get a response for over 24 hours. Then we were told we couldn’t have late check out(the morning of our departure) so we had to hustle out before 10:00. Over all the stay was nice, with exception of the few cons.

This property was great for a family vacation. We really enjoyed our stay. Only a few notes for others booking: 1. Limited amount of TP and cleaning supplies 2. Couldn’t make the Wii read games and couldn’t find the charging cables for the PS3 controllers 3. Mosquitoes were brutal in the evenings and especially down by the Sunset Pool. Bring repellent 4. Only a few laundry pods so bring your own. 5. The master bedroom gets colder than other bedrooms so bring your own blankets With these few things, you will have a magical stay and I look forward to booking here again next summer.

Great stay, very thoughtful set up and appreciate the added appliances (water boiler, etc) that anticipated our every needs. Beds were comfortable and everything was clean and well organized. We really enjoyed the place. Be sure to bring sun screen and bug repellents (!!!) for that walk to the beach. Overall wonderful experience and appreciate the location to the Beach house and the short walk to the beach.

If I could give this zero stars, I would. Honestly, the best advice I can give you is to never book with Vacasa. We were supposed to check in the day after Hurricane Beryl hit Galveston. The communication with Vacasa was terrible. It was seriously like talking to a robot. The condo/complex had no power. No AC, no way to cook, no WiFi, complex pools were closed. Multiple power lines were down on the road to Pointe West. BUT THEY STILL EXPECTED US TO STAY THERE. They were only willing to reschedule within 30 days at the same condo… which had NO AVAILABILITY! I will never book anything with Vacasa again. Lesson learned and have disputed charges with my bank.

Our condo was perfect for our family! The only downside was how terrible the mosquitoes weee in the area. Made it hard to go for evening walks which we really enjoy doing. The condo itself was awesome!

Enjoyed the home. Enjoyed the property. Loved the location, pool and beach access. House was comfortable and spacious. Great view of the gulf.
