Villa La Isla is a bright three-bedroom condo built around the two things a Gulf Coast trip runs on: water and downtime. The shared pool sits a short walk from the door and the shoreline is a few minutes out, so the day can start slow and still get somewhere.

Inside stays relaxed. The living room has plush seating, a TV, coastal decor that doesn't overdo it, and a queen Murphy bed that folds down when the group runs bigger than expected. The dining area opens to a fully equipped kitchen — stainless appliances, real counter space, everything you need for breakfast before the beach or a cooler packed for the afternoon.

When the group stays in, the condo holds its own. There's shuffleboard, table-top bowling, and a stack of board and card games for the hours between dinner and bed. It works for families with kids and for a group of friends who'd rather not go out every night.

Three bedrooms give everyone somewhere to land, with an ensuite bathroom off the primary for a little separation. In-home laundry handles the sand and salt that come with beach days.

Corpus Christi opens up from here. Padre Island National Seashore protects sixty-six miles of undeveloped barrier island south of town, with birding, surf fishing and sea turtle releases in season. Packery Channel is a local fishing standby. Across the bay on North Beach, the Texas State Aquarium and the USS Lexington — a WWII carrier you can spend most of a day on — anchor a rainy-day plan. Add waterfront dining, the marinas and a sunset over the water most evenings, and the week fills itself.

- Unfortunately, pets are not allowed in this home. If undisclosed pets are brought into the home without AvantStay's approval there is a fine of $500 per pet.

This is a smoke-free property. Violation of the no-smoking policy will result in forfeiture of the security deposit, a $300 smoking fee, and liability for any fire or property damage costs.

As part of our commitment to being good neighbors, occupancy limits and quiet hours (9pm-8am) are strictly enforced. No speakers or sound systems will be provided for use in our properties. Violation of any noise ordinances will be subject to fines that can reach up to $10,000 per violation.

Events or parties are not allowed without prior written approval and an additional fee. Any unauthorized parties or events will be shut down and a fine will be assessed. Please inquire for more information about our event policies and fees.

IDs will be requested for verification after booking. All bookings over 28 days require a security deposit.
