The views and location were unbeatable. Sitting in the living room felt like you were at the beach but without the crowds or noise. The hosts were responsive and helpful. Would highly recommend this property.

Amazing property and views. One of our favorite units in the building. A couple notes: Pay laundry down the hall Unit doesn’t have beach chairs or boogie boards as some doThe master has a weird window slider door facing view. This allows for extra living room space for recliners with full ocean view. But it means you don’t have complete privacy in master bedroom.

We had a fantastic stay at Patrick’s Pacific Paradise! The property is exactly as advertised and the views are absolutely stunning—being in the corner unit with wraparound windows was a game changer.The condo was spotless and worked perfectly for our family of four. With one king bed and two queens, there was more than enough space without needing the pull-out sofa (though I could see it feeling a bit tight if used). The parking spot was very spacious and easy to access, which isn’t always the case in beachfront properties. Laundry isn’t free, but it’s conveniently located, so no complaints there.When they say the beach is “minutes away,” they mean it—our toes were in the sand in about two minutes! Restaurants and shops are close as well (5–15 minute walk), with our favorite being Hideaway for brunch, food, and drinks—just an 8-minute walk away, and we went several times.We were a little nervous about there being no AC, but it turned out to be a non-issue. The weather was in the low 80s during our stay, and with the windows open and fans on, we were always comfortable. In fact, a couple of nights got cool enough that we turned the fans off.The only area that could use improvement is the beach accessories. The chairs really need to be replaced—they’re not true beach chairs and were uncomfortable. The condo was gorgeous. Nicely furnished and very updated. The beds were comfortable. Newer sheets would be even better. But overall everything was very clean and updated. A short walk down some steps to get to the beach.

Our stay at Patrick’s Pacific Paradise was truly unforgettable! The property is beautifully maintained, exactly as pictured, and perfectly equipped with everything we needed for a relaxing getaway. What really took our breath away were the spectacular views of the Pacific Ocean from the fourth-floor floor-to-ceiling glass doors—absolutely stunning!Falling asleep and waking up to the sound of the waves was so peaceful and soothing, we didn’t even feel the need to turn on the TV. It was the perfect place to unplug and unwind.The property is managed by Nancy’s Vacation Rentals, and their team was fantastic—great communication, always quick to respond to any questions, and they even provided some excellent local recommendations that made our stay even better.Between the incredible location, the peaceful ocean ambiance, and the top-notch service, this place exceeded our expectations. We’d absolutely stay again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a true coastal escape!

We had a great time in San Diego and loved our stay at this property. The other couple we were with usually stay in downtown SD but even they enjoyed this location. The condo is exactly as described in the listing. It was clean and well stocked. The only down side is the need for key fobs to get in the parking garage and to use the elevators. You would think that once you’re in the garage (using the fob to open the locked gate) that should be enough to gain entrance to the building. A small inconvenience for sure.

We stayed in Patrick's Capri by the Sea condo from 9/15/20 2024. Gorgeous view through floor to ceiling windows, with three that would slide open to allow in the sea breeze. Beautifully decorated and supplied. EVERYTHING was new, from the kitchen dishes/flatware/gadgets to the linens and furniture. The beds were heavenly - not to soft or hard. We didn't have a car but could easily walk to restaurants and shops. The closest grocery store was within a half mile but carrying large loads was a bit of an issue. Future guests may want to inquire about the upcoming plumbing project that started on our last day. We received a message that our water would be cut off from 9-5 the last day. Fortunately for us, it was never actually cut off. However, it is a building-wide project that looks like it will have an impact on residents and visitors for months. They seem to have a schedule that shows the dates each unit will be impacted. We had some issues with luggage storage prior to check-in, but we were eventually able to get help.

We absolutely loved our time here with our kids. The location is great with lots of restaurants within walking distance. It is 15-20 minutes from everything in San Diego and it was nice to be a bit away from mission beach craziness. The pool is just across the alley down the street a bit but it wasn’t a problem with our three kids under 12 and it was a nice alternative to the beach. The beach was great. Can be a bit crowded but still found spots late in the day. Also appreciated the beach accessories provided (boogie boards, chairs, sand toys). The view is amazing and all my wife and I wanted to do was sit in the chairs overlooking the beach ocean. We slept with the ocean waves each night! The condo was clean, beds were comfortable and well equipped. We liked the underground parking and building security too. The communication with Nancy’s Vacation Rentals was top notch. They provide a nice orientation guide with all the info and were always very quick to respond to questions we had via email and text. Can’t recommend this place enough for families (young kids especially) and couples looking for a relaxing vacation.

We absolutely loved our stay and cannot wait to come back. Everything was comfortable and felt like home. The view was stunning and we loved waking up and falling asleep to the ocean sounds. The team was fantastic to work with and helped with all our needs.

After supporting our student through college, we thought it would be nice to have a beautiful place to stay as a treat for ourselves. There was plenty of space for my student and their siblings. The view was phenomenal. The property was pristine.
