This 1 Bed/2 Bath condo is located in one of the best properties in Kihei, directly across the street from one of the best beaches in Kihei. It's on the ground floor with tropical views, making it the perfect unit for your Maui getaway.

As you enter, you'll be welcomed by the elegant and timeless furnishings. The living area features modern furnishings and a comfortable queen sleeper sofa for additional sleeping, accommodating up to four guests. You can relax with your favorite movie on the flat-screen TV, and there's a ceiling fan and AC to keep you cool (living room only). The sliding glass doors allow for indoor/outdoor living with a private lanai. The spacious lanai is a great space to lounge or dine alfresco and take in the beautiful garden setting. You can also step across the street for ocean views and enjoy the white sandy beach.

The fully equipped kitchen has everything any home chef would need, including new appliances such as a microwave, dishwasher, plateware, utensils, and cooking items. There's a breakfast bar with added seating and a dining area with room for four to dine.

The guest bath is renovated and well-appointed with a glass-enclosed walk-in shower. The full-size washer/dryer allows for lighter packing.

The primary suite is your tranquil retreat after a fun-filled day on Maui. It features a luxurious king bed, a ceiling fan to keep it cool, and a flat-screen TV. The primary ensuite bath has been renovated and equipped with updated fixtures, including a tub/shower combo.

For added convenience, complimentary high-speed internet with Wi-Fi, beach towels, beach chairs, and a cooler are provided.

Kamaole Sands Resort offers amenities for the whole family, including a large pool, small children's wading pool, adult and family hot tubs, tennis courts, BBQs, picnic areas, and a fitness center. It's conveniently located across from one of the best beaches on Maui, Kamaole III Beach.

    Very clean condo unit, nicely set up, well appointed, felt like home. We have been staying at the Kamaole Sands for 20 years, I love the grounds, pool / spa area and family atmosphere. I think Kihei is best area on Maui, has string of 15 or so very nice beaches up and down the coast, wide variety of nice restaurants. I like that Safeway delivers groceries to your doorstep.

    No air conditioning in bedroom, had a small window unit ( in wall ) in living room, air never made it to bedroom. The floor turned your feet jet black within 3 steps of walking on it. The laundry room is on the other side of the living room wall, and at 6:50 am every day the truck backs up to make the exchange of dirty laundry ( got to love the back up beeper ! It's also where all the construction trucks park in the am.....clocks don't work, bath tubs dirty, crappy kitchen utensils and don't forget the guard shack next door.....we called Caldwell Banker ( Manage property ) Jerimiah didn't even offer to have the dump cleaned after telling him how dirty it was, JUST DON'T CARE !!! This unit should not be rented !!!!! Mold on all fans !!!

    First, a disclaimer. This isn’t our first time to Kamaole Sands. We come nearly every year and usually rent a one bedroom with some sort of convertible bed in the living room. So this review is comparing this condo rental experience to similar units. What we wished we would have known. First, the sliding door on the lanai is in serious need of maintenance. Instead of taking care of it property management simply puts a sign on the door advising “open slowly”. That is the only way it opens - slowly, with much effort. The track needs maintenance and management just put it back on the renters to solve themselves. Given how often we use the lanai, this was a serious headache for us. Yes, I did communicate with them about this issue 2 days into our trip. No, they didn’t respond 9 days later. A couple more things, and this is just me being picky - but hey we spent several thousand dollars on our stay here … Everything about this place feels cheap and done for the appearance of pictures and “upgrades”. The laminate flooring is not installed properly leaving multiple edges for you to catch your toes on. The bathroom doesn’t have anywhere for you to hang a towel to dry. No measuring cups, mixing bowels, or pancake turner in the kitchen. Bar stools are way too short for the bar. And the hide-a-bed … easily the most uncomfortable bed we’ve ever slept on. We just ended up sleeping on the floor. Hope management addresses these issues and communicates with renters better in the future.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: KS is a beautiful property, very well managed, grounds are pristine, pools & common bbq areas are exceptionally clean. Unit 8-101, is at back of the complex, in a very quiet, private locale. No view of pools or ocean on the small lanai, BUT it is encircled with foliage & the sound of birds & quiet breeze is perfect. No pool noise etc. It less than a 1 minute walk from parking spot to the unit. Complex is laid out in such a way that it is a short walk, to the bbq, pool, main street & Kamaole Beach. Unit is spacious, (especially for just 2 adults) & VERY clean. BEDROOM: king size bed is really comfortable, excellent linens, pillows & sheets. It is at front of unit & gets quite warm but owner has 2 high quality stand up fans & an overhead one that helps keep you cool through the night. ENSUITE: bright, clean, nice quality towels, lots of storage for your own essentials & if you don’t want to share, there’s a second bathroom. (super picky, the ensuite bathtub is going to need to be reglazed but it was still very clean). One suggestion is to add some over the door hooks, there needs to be a few more areas (other than the closet) to hang clothes that don’t need to be washed & can be worn again. LIVING ROOM: The furniture, is all very nice, comfortable, tasteful, nice tv, A/C (works in that open area only not the bedroom). We did open the sofa bed to see if we could sleep out there on one super hot evening & the mattress is far too thin for adults, (probably ok for little kids). KITCHEN: Open concept with living room, excellent appliances, super clean, 4 seater dining table. Has everything for cooking & bbq, coffee, blender drinks etc. I suggest more glasses (less plastic) & some insulated cups for poolside. Laminate floors, plenty of cleaning supplies to keep things tidy for longer stays, inc. ensuite washer/dryer. Owner provides, beach towels, chairs, mats, extra towels & linens. We comfortably spent 2weeks. I would stay again in this unit

    Master bedroom was not well cooled! Fans were the only mode of cooling! With 80 plus degrees and humidity definitely was in need of more! Place needed remodeling but understand owners are now selling place and in market
