Stayed Jul 3, 2025Very clean, jacuzzi tub plug does not work so water just drained out. No parking under the garage was a big issue because we could only take the stairs up and having to carry all of our luggage and food up was very hard.

Stayed Jun 28, 2025This was our family’s first trip to New Smyrna Beach, as we have been going to St. Augustine for years (and places on the Gulf before that). We were thankful to find this pet friendly unit that accepted our two dogs which are both over 20 lbs. The condo was clean and had ample lounging space in the living room—sometimes that’s hard to find. There were plenty of linens available, including numerous beach towels. The master bed was firmer than what we are used to, but that’s a common and understandable occurrence in rentals. One thing to note is that the complex’s access to the beach is not just by crossing the street, but rather by walking to the other end of the complex from this unit and crossing the street. However, the walk was a bit shorter than other places we have stayed and very manageable. We found three chairs, a beach wagon, some sand toys, and a baby tent in the front closet available for our use, though we ended up only using the one very sturdy chair. Our only complaint about our trip is that St. Augustine is a pet-friendly beach throughout, and this beach only has one area that is pet-friendly. However, we went to numerous pet-friendly restaurants while there—including Third Wave, my favorite.

Stayed Apr 1, 2024The condo is beautiful and comfortable! It looks exactly like the pictures show. We enjoyed having meals and playing games out on the porch. We also enjoyed the pool, and the tennis and basketball courts. My dog enjoyed his walks around the property. I gave it 4 out of 5 stars because we were not made aware of the massive remodel of the building on the outside. There were wires everywhere outside and we were woken up by loud air compressors each morning. Also, lawn maintenance was bright and early to go along with it. If you don’t mind waking up early on vacation, then I guess that would be ok. There is a starter supply of a few items, but 1 single tiny bar of soap for 8 people as a starter made me laugh! I wish I had known there was just a keurig coffee machine because I brought all my own items to make coffee. It may have said it in the amenities, so I might have missed it. The code to the door did not work and we had to call several times to get someone to answer the phone and send us an override code. They were very helpful and friendly, but when you’ve driven in the car for a long time, it was a little frustrating. The code to the gate was also confusing because there are 2 pinpads. Apparently, they put a new one up and left the old one right beside it. Make sure you use the touchscreen or you’ll just be sitting there with cars backed up behind you. It is a very short walk to the beach, but no dogs are allowed. You have to drive 8 miles and pay $10 at a dog park.

Stayed Feb 15, 2024This property was exactly as shown online. It literally has everything you need for a beach vacation including beach towels, chairs, coolers, and wagon. The beach is a 5 minute walk. The kitchen is equipped with everything you need for meals, the linens are abundant with extra pillows and blankets, and plenty of towels. We were extremely pleased with this condo.

Stayed Jul 27, 2023I am born and raised in the area and was coming home to visit with family from Virginia and be on the beach with my children, niece, nephew and friends. The condo was the perfect size for the seven of us and the kids truly had a blast. Property management was amazing. The condo was very clean and I definitely recommend making sure you bring the essential things listed like trash bags, hand soap and toilet paper. We came prepared of course and it was awesome. New Smyrna is not known as a place with tons of things to do for children, so I wouldn’t go there expecting that. It’s for the beach. You can venture to even Orlando (we did) if you want to get the kids off the beach for a day. We didn’t expect to walk on the beach from the walk on access with so many children and already knew we were driving on. The drive on is a block or two away. I fully recommend doing that as to not have to tote all the things from the beach back to the condo, just leave it in the car! It was a gated community and everyone in the area was very nice.

Stayed Mar 21, 2023The property itself is lovely. New and comfortable, nicely furnished with basics. It is far off the beaten path and not within waking distance to the more populated areas for food, shopping etc, all depend on what you want. It is a long walk from one end of this complex to the beach ramp, we drove on instead about ten minutes into town. The property management could be a lot better. We never received our check in details. When calling the after hours number I was told someone would call me back and they never did. Luckily I googled and found my own way in. They offered me late check out the next day to make up for it but then constantly sent me communication about regular check out. After confirming twice the late check out I was offered a house cleaning service still walked right in about 10:30 am as my children were getting dressed. Overall they need to clean up the check in and check out process to be more simple just like most VRBO.
