Grande Getaway | Walking Distance to the Beach

Very clean, well stocked kitchen. Good communication about check-in/out. Location easy to get to beach or to shopping and restaurants.

Nice property and good location. Unfortunately, the communication with Grand Getaway was terrible. We notified Grand Getaway on Saturday when we arrived that there was no parking/beach pass in the property. It took them until Wednesday (5 days) to tell us that the previous renters drove home with the pass. We had to spend 120 on a pass for the week. The property manager dropped off the pass (when we only had 3 days left). He ignored our request to refund the cost we had to pay for a new pass. I contacted Grand Getaway many times and they never refunded us.

It was in a great location,with alot of fabulous amenities. 5 minutes of the beach or outlets, a minute from the pool, nice area to walk quite, and peaceful. Very clean grounds, with lots of parking. I have to say the cleanliness within the spacewas not there. Regardless of where I stay I will always clean over housekeeping but I don’t think the floors were ever cleaned. There was a lot of things under the beds and in the pullout sofa. It was dog friendly which is good if you bring an animal but tons of pet fur. Dirty baseboards, fans and cobwebs on lights, Just a few areas that need more attention.

Great home on the first floor that is bigger than it appears in photos. It was very clean and was well fitted-out with the necessities. Communication from the Owner was ample, and not overbearing which you can get sometimes. The location was convenient. Definitely would return.

The community is well maintained. The interior of the condo is beautiful. The title is very misleading - Walking Distance to Beach- it's 2 miles to the beach. I expected it to be a 5-10 minute walk with that title. I chose this listing based on that. When vacationing in a beach town, I don't want the hassle of driving to the beach and looking for parking. There were some issues with the cleanliness & maintenance that I expressed to Guest Services in a reply to their text with me hours after we checked in. They said someone would contact me ASAP. My vacation is over and still no one has reached out. It's a moot point now. Grand Welcome needs to work on their customer service. All in all we had a great week in family friendly Rehoboth. The condo is centrally located to Lewes and Bethany Beach where we took day trips to. Cape Henlopen State Park offers biking (complimentary loaners with park admission), hiking and the beach all in one place. Taco Reho and the Crystal Diner are both delicious food options. Jungle Jim's is a fun way to cool off. There is outlet shopping nearby for those rainy days. Something for everyone!

We enjoyed staying here. It’s conveniently located to shopping and restaurants and a quick drive to the beach. The pool was great too.

This was a lovely home in a great community! Very quiet, with nice amenities. Would definitely stay again!
