Gorgeous view of the Gulf from this luxurious Condo.

This condo is in excellent condition. It could not have been cleaner. Great location facing the ocean.

The condo was clean and well equipped. The view from the patio was beautiful. The location was wonderful.

I come to Galveston 2-3 times a year from Pittsburgh. My son and grandchildren from Houston stayed in the condo with me. We spent time in the pool and at the beach. The view from the condo is beautiful. The condo clean, comfortable and well stocked with everything you need. I felt at home. The owner responds very quickly and is a very gracious host. I will definitely book again on one of my trips throughout the year.

This is the third time we have stayed at this property and we love it always clean always up-to-date and very nice. Will be back in a few months.

Property pool closed

My family and I have been traveling to Galveston for summer vacations for the past 30 years or so. We always have a wonderful time and make great memories. We have stayed at The Dawn before it never fails to be a great location. The condos are always well maintained. The property hosts are always easy to reach and very accommodating to whatever the needs there are that may arise .

I would definitely stay at The Dawn again.The property itself was beautiful. The community was well laid out and the location was perfect. Our patio faced the beach with immediate accessibility. The landscaping and pool areas were well maintained. The property manager was very friendly and helpful. Check-in was super easy. However, the unit we rented wasn't thoroughly cleaned before our arrival and there was sand and dead insects on the floor in the bathroom and bedroom. The owner contacted me 4 days before our check-in (when it was too late to find another place to stay OR get a refund), to say that the compressor on the AC had gone out. Each time we communicated it was taking longer than expected to get the part. It was not fixed by the time we left. Our stay was 6 days. When I asked if the owner could possibly get a portable as a temporary fix, the response was I'll see what I can do, then never followed up on the request. We ended up spending an extra 500 to buy our own and 2 tower fans, even though I offered at that point, I shouldn't have had to. A good host would have taken care of it.

Overall our stay was great. Super convenient to the beach, restaurants and shops. The pool was great and very close to the room. The only cons were, the refrigerator needed a better cleaning, the mattress was very hard and had some issues with the TV intermittently not working. Other than that, it was a great stay!

We had a great stay! The condo was set up just like home. Everything we needed was there. Bedding, kitchen items and towels for the bathroom, towels for the beach and pool. All the things. The one suggestion would be to add a radio, as not every one has a smartphone. We hope to stay there again.

What is a nice place right off the ocean had to walk a block across the street to get to the ocean though. Please had a musty smell probably related to the moisture from the ocean, but seem to be worse than my friends condo who stayed in the same complex.

Such a cute condo - nothing disappointing about it. Was well listed, comfortable and homey! Very good communication from host as well! Absolutely loved it and will be back!

We truly enjoyed our stay at this property. The host was extremely responsive, and the property was neat as a pin. In addition, everything we could have needed was right there! We will definitely consider staying there again if it's available for our next visit to Galveston.

Overall, the experience was good. Condo was as described and very well kept. You need to understand the location and realize that being right on Seawall Blvd and the ground floor location comes with traffic noise. We figured it would and was surprised to not see it mentioned in any earlier reviews. Our only problem was with check in. We arrived after dark and the outside entry was pitch dark. The only thing you have info on is a numeric code to key in but no description of the lock. We could only see what must have been an old manual keypad off to the right of the door which did not work. After calling the owner and having to wait about an hour in our car, she finally got through and apologized for the delay due weather storms. She indicated that the keypad was above the knob and if we touched it in the right place it would light up. Success! It would have been great to have that in the instructions. All else was fine.

The location was perfect. Close to everything. The stay was good. Had everything you may need. Could have been just a tad bit cleaner. Dust webs on the furniture and bugs on the floor by the sliding door. Other than that it was an easy check in and it was cozy.

Wish the bed was a little more comfortable

Excellent location and GREAT condo. Far enough away from the nightlife that Galveston offers yet close enough to drive to it if that’s your thing. Unit is literally directly across from the beach.

It has been a long time since I have traveled. It was very nice, easy to use. And the place was very nice and well kept

We really enjoyed our short weekend trip to the beach! The condo was exactly as described, very clean, and has a well-stocked kitchen. The hot tub wasn't working, and I would have preferred to be told that before finding out when I arrived. The location is perfect, and I would love to go back for a longer stay!

This property was an excellent home away from home! It is in a great location, family friendly and has nice amenities. Everything we needed was walkable or a short ride by car. The beach is directly across the street and Walmart is next door for quick pickups. We enjoyed the view from the patio with breakfast or an evening snack and beverage. I highly recommend this unit and look forward to spending time there again!

Easy access to the beach. Just have to cross the street.

The condo was adorable and clean. Felt right at home immediately. The facilities were great! We really enjoyed our stay and would definitely stay here again!

Nice place. Little too much road noise. Well decorated and very beachy.
