Welcome to your family or friends' retreat at Granita in the Mountain Village! The Granita Building is very convenient for any season and any reason. The top of Lift One is adjacent to the building. A short walk will bring you to the base of Lift 4 and the main Gondola that runs to the Town of Telluride or the top of the Ridge between the two towns. Another convenient Gondola takes you directly to the main grocery store in Mountain Village. How many times can you say you did that “Hey, when we bought our groceries, we had to get them via a Gondola! Cool.”

The balcony features outdoor seating and a gas grill, which help create the ultimate outdoor experience right in your own home. Oh, and the views! Soak it in any season. In the main living area, you will find ample cozy seating around a stone fireplace. The dining area is a part of the open space concept and features a pine wood/painted table with seating for eight guests. The kitchen is outfitted with high-end appliances, including a gas range and a farm style porcelain sink.

The 2 Bedrooms one with a king bed and one with a queen bed, both have ensuite bathrooms. One bedroom has a private balcony with views over the slopes and peaks. This bedroom also features a desk workspace for those that must stay in touch with work on vacation, a situation we hope few have to do! One of the ensuite bathrooms has a jetted tub while the other bathroom has a steam shower.

The condo has ski storage in a secure area on the ground floor. The elevator can be found in this area. The condo comes with one dedicated parking spot in the heated garage below the building. Only one parking spot is guaranteed. We do not have additional parking permits or spots for Mountain Village properties.

    We had a 3 night stay and had a great time. Condo is in great location with a short walk to gondola, restaurants, etc. Would be perfect during ski season to walk out the door to the slopes.

    This was a great location for skiing. High points: large patio with great view, luxe bathrooms, nice fireplace, comfortable bedding, dedicated parking spot in heated garage. Working with the property managers was a breeze. Would definitely consider staying here again when returning to Telluride!

    Great location! Perfectly lovely and cozy condo in the heart of Mountain village. Ski-in, Ski-out and walk to all of the shops. We come to Telluride every year and fell in love with this location.

    This property was ideally located in Mountain Village with only a short walk to the free Gondola that connects to downtown, as well as the Village Express lift. It is also next door to Black Tie Rentals and just down the street from Christy's with ski storage in the lobby as you enter the building. Although the location of this building is great overall, this unit does abut the street and is subject to traffic noise (including a lot of beeping from work trucks in the morning). Each bedroom has a full bath, so couples sharing this unit can have the privacy of their own space. The kitchen is also very well laid out and fully stocked with all necessary equipment and utensils. The living room is a little small, but could still use one extra comfortable chair so that four adults could sit together. It does contain a very nice fireplace. I did notice that the left balcony door in the living room is missing insulation from the threshold area, which allows cold air to enter the room during the winter. I will note a few issues with the smaller bedroom that features a queen bed: (a) the substandard blinds that cover the French doors and the lack of blinds on the windows above those doors allow a lot of light to enter the room, both from the sun during the day and vehicles on the adjacent road at night (the other windows have wooden blinds that do a good job of blocking the light), (b) sun light causes a strong glare on the television in the room, (c) the television location should be changed to the back wall so that the viewing angle is ideal when one is in the bed (you must pull the stand away from the wall to make the television viewable when in bed), and (d) the room is cluttered with unnecessary furniture, which makes it feel crowded (there is no need for the desk in the room as most people on vacation will not be using it, and this space could be better used as a sitting area).
