Giant Steps 53 Close to the park, Bristlecone Pond, the shops & restaurants.

It was great!

The property description and photographs are accurate, and the space accommodated our group well. The location is great and allowed for ski-in and ski-out. Downsides of this rental included lacking enough towels for each guest in the reservation and no trash bags provided. The management group did take care of it the following afternoon. However, I had also requested a sink stopper in order to wash dishes, and the property manager said he was aware of the request and would be back with one, but we never saw or heard from him again. It also would have been nice if there was a broom or vacuum for guests to keep the space clean, as we were a group of ten staying for a week, and the space beneath the dining table really needed some attention.

We had a wonderful ski trip and loved the ski in/ski out location!

Upon arriving at this property, everything seemed great. But then there were some issues that were not resolved. The freezer was not working properly and all of the frozen groceries (pizza, Ice cream, etc) were completely thawed in the freezer and went bad during our stay. The floors under the dining table were filthy, there were crumbs and dirt which were not cleaned from the guests prior to our stay. The shower head in the upstairs loft was broken and did not stay in one place while showering. Management was easy to contact and check in was easy as well. Overall, I probably would not stay here again.

Cozy, beautiful

The condo was great and I would recommend it. The location is outstanding and building is great for families with a game room and close proximity to the lifts and other outdoor activities. A few minor issues with the condo that I feel could easily be fixed. The freezer was broken (basically became an extension of the fridge). There was no ice available neither in the condo nor in the building and even if you buy ice, it would melt in the “freezer”. The filter on the fridge didn’t work either so make sure to bring your own bottles of water. There were a limited number of towels which over the course of four nights, it would be nice having some extra towels. There were no hand towels either so that was annoying. As other reviews indicated, the coffee pot is really small so probably a good idea to bring your own if you look forward to coffee in the morning. The unit is on the third floor with no elevator so it’s a nice little workout getting up to the condo. That being said, the upstairs loft was perfect for the kids so it was worth the extra exercise for us. The internet was not consistent so just be prepared in case this is needed for working while on vacation - hopefully that’s not needed anyway! Other than the above, the family vacation was amazing and the condo was a nice retreat and was large enough for two families to have an exceptional trip - just be prepared for the above as they were small annoyances and hopefully the owner fixes them before you arrive.

The property management was outstanding. Worked with us to make our Christmas vacation to our grandchildren memorable and so much fun. I the condo was well equipped and perfect for a family with children like ours. Never a dull moment, so much for each age group to enjoy!.

The condo was great for a large family, with 3 bedrooms and lots of common space. Perfect location to literally ski in and out. Would highly recommend
