Galleon Resort beach hotel luxury in Old Town Key West

We came down from Key Largo for a night Great spot and definitely a great room, private roof top deck to watch sunset. We will be back and stay here again

The apartment smells of mold. We were unable to stay Very Disappointed. The furniture needs updating property management were not able to assist us with switching condos We have stay at the Gallon many time I would not recommend

Absolute hidden gem! Great location near access to everything by walking. The place was super clean and welcoming. The roof top view was such a pleasant bonus! Will definitely book again.

Although the balconey didn't have a view, the view from the rooftop was breathtaking. The sunsets were amazing. The condo had everything we needed and then some. Very clean. We absolutely loved it. Our stay was perfect. The bed was also amazing and very comfortable along with the pillows.

What a wonderful stay we had. The condo was spotless and the view from the rooftop deck was breathtaking. We watched a magnificent cruise ship pull into the port in the early morning hours over coffee. a 360 view above all else. There was 4 of us with plenty of room, a full kitchen and living room, the deck with a hot tub and the unique one level up roof top deck, fantastic. Walking distance from everything, a boardwalk with plenty of shops and restaurants and things to see. Communication with the owner was flawless. Thank you Edward, we will be back.

Everything was great from the time of check in till the time of check out. Property is in a great location. We would definitely stay here again.

This location could not have been better. We loved being just a couple of blocks from Mallory Square and right on the waterfront boardwalk. The screened porch and private rooftop deck were such a perk of this unit. It was very clean and the bed was comfortable. The unit has been updated since the photos were taken with new furniture and flooring. We enjoyed our stay and would stay here again and recommend this unit to friends/family.

this place was even more beautiful than I thought. We went up on the roof and had some cocktails and looked out at all the boats. It was absolutely beautiful. Highly recommended.

Place was beautiful !

The roof top deck has a great view but there is no umbrella. The furniture is the same that was there ten years ago and is very dated. My understanding is that the furniture is being replaced because they asked that a decorator could come up to measure.A dehumidifier is greatly needed everything thing smelled damp and musty. Love the pool and the tiki bar. The staff were hardworking and helpful. The area is perfect. With a few updates this could be 5 stars.

The Galleon, the host and the condo exceeded our expectations! The pictures do not reflect how nice this condo truly is. We enjoyed watching the sunset from the rooftop sitting area. The resort staff were friendly, helpful and always pleasant.

The views from the rooftop terrace were breathtaking. The apartment was very comfortable and spacious. Perfect location in Key West. We have already reserved this property for next years vacation also. 10 out of 10.

Not really a beach view but a 380 degree view from the private roof top made it hard to go anywhere else to watch the sunset.

We rented through the owners of this unit on Vrbo and could not have been more pleased! Eric and Ed were amazing and easy to communicate with. We loved this unit and will be back for sure! Thanks guys! Your place was amazing and perfect for us! So private and relaxing with our own private porch and rooftop deck. We watched the fireworks up top and enjoyed the privacy that no other unit had. 5 stars for sure!

It’s hard to believe that you are in the middle of Key West in this spacious well appointed spot! Large living room, spacious bedroom, outdoor courtyard, and a roof deck!!! Absolutely fabulous!

Fantastic rental! Easy check in process. The resort location is perfect to the wharf, bars, and restaurants. The unit was spotless and decorated with tropical vibes. Bed was comfortable, kitchen had everything you needed for your stay.. Ed is a great host.

the location is great. Ed was easy to communicate with on all items. Rooftop area is awesome for a private sunset watch. The 1 Bedroom unit had everything we could need for stay and the ability to walk everywhere is a big plus while also being in a quiet corner.

We booked what was considered the penthouse suite on the property. For starters, the last flight of the stairs to this room cannot be reached via elevator, and the description did not note that, so if you have someone who is not able to go up stairs or carry their items up a flight of stairs do not book this room. Then this room advertised having a hot tub, it was an inflatable hot tub full of black mold, making it unusable. There were also screens missing from the screened room, and no working lights on the rooftop to safely enjoy it at night. Then on our third night we were woken up at 6:30 in the morning from someone in building management to notify us that the occupants below said water was coming down from their ceiling. Turns out the air conditioner unit is leaking so badly that the establishment has been just stuffing towels inside of it to absorb the water, so you are sleeping with wet, moldy towels. Instead of actually fixing the unit, the staff just stuffed more towels in the unit. Also the dishwasher doesn't even close, which we discovered only right before checking out to try and run everything to be cleaned. Basically this unit is being held up by bandaids. The amenities are minimal as well. 4 hangers in a unit that can sleep up to 6, and when we asked for more hangers from downstairs they tried to charge us money to rent them. This place is a wonderful place to stay while in key west. However we had some unfortunate issues with roof replacement, Ed, the owner, stepped in a took care of us and handled the situation. It was nothing of his doing or control but helped us through the situation. Highly recommend this place to everyone. This is the only reason I dropped the star rating as we are hoping to stay there again and I’m sure it will be a 5 star at that time. Thanks for your response Ed. Roy and Gina

Really can't say enough good things about our stay here. The amenities and location alone are reason enough to book this listing. Pool was excellent, private beach while small is excellent, local Tiki bar on site was excellent and has a really nice sitting area with chaise lounges overlooking the water. There's even a community grilling area with two of the cleanest grills I have ever seen. The only negatives that weren't really even negatives, the unit itself is a little dated but has been updated enough recently that you barely notice. Also, the wifi in the unit is virtually non-existent so just plan ahead for that. Definitely nothing worth subtracting a star. Would book again in a heartbeat.
