Great location. The outside of the property could use some help. The inside was nice. If very hot you'll have the turn on the air condition at all times and close the vents downstairs to ensure comfortable temperature upstairs. The air circulations was not evenly disperse throughout the house. Quiet and suitable.
The exteriors of the entire neighborhood is in poor condition, however this is out of control of the owners of the unit. The interior is exactly how it is shown in the photos. The A/C is not strong upstairs, however box fans are provided and once they are set up to get the air flowing you can get the upstairs temp down. The walking distance to Disney is the perfect amount. Overall we had a wonderful vacation.
Close to downtown Disney. Very clean and cozy.
Awesome spot to stay. Very clean, comfortable and walkable to Disney. The pool was great to cool off in for a mid day break from the park before going back at night.
Our stay was great. The unit was clean, spacious enough and accommodated our family of 6 perfectly. It is close to Disneyland when we figured out our route to get there. The supplied strollers were a life saver as we averaged 22,000 steps walking around Disney. The coffee maker died on day 5 and was replaced promptly. The unit was clean, and plenty large enough for 4 adults and 2 children. We had a couple of warm days, air conditioning worked great on the main floor but did not cool the upper bedrooms. All and all a great stay
Very nice and clean! So close to Disneyland, 3 blocks. Close to stores and restaurants and in a nice, quiet neighborhood! Thank you!
Walked 20 minutes to the gates of Disneyland
This was a nice little place to stay which was pretty well kept and had nice comfortable beds. All the appliances and the amenities were great as well. Unfortunately, the floor was very dirty when we arrived and you could tell it had not been cleaned. Walking on it for an hour left our feet turning black/brown from all the dirt. The TV didn't work either and someone had to come and spend over 30 minutes unsuccessfully trying to connect the accounts to the apps and it only worked after they connected their personal account for us to use. Additionally, the AC in the upstairs didn't work the entire 6 days and it was HOT. None of us could sleep under the covers even with all the fans out and turned on full blast. I woke up each night in a pool of sweat. They had an HVAC guy come out, but they couldn't fix it until the end of the week AFTER we left. I messaged the manager and told them this, but it didn't make much difference and nothing else was done and no apology was given either. It was a nice place overall, but with the issues and no solutions I would not stay here again.
Property was in a great location, convenient to walk or ride share to Disneyland. It had a great pool and hot tub and was very clean and quiet. Unfortunately, the air conditioning in the bedrooms (upstairs) worked VERY POORLY. So bad that this listing should probably say main level air conditioning ONLY. The difference in temperature between the main level and upstairs was extreme, making sleeping very difficult. We would come back from a morning at Disney to try and rest/nap before going back in the evening and the bedrooms were like saunas. Property management was responsive when I raised the concerns, but they didn’t (couldn’t) do anything about it. I understand we were there during one of the hottest months (August) but not having a comfortable bedroom to rest in really ruined this location for us. If you don’t mind being hot, everything else about this property is very nice!
Overall we enjoyed our stay. We didn't spend much time in the property since the main goal of the trip was to spend family time at Disney. If we were looking for a condo to spend hours relaxing in this would not be it but we knew that when we rented this property. The location of the property really can't be beat. We were able to walk across the condo complex, cross the street and enter Downtown Disney after a short walk. The property overall was clean and we had everything provided that we needed. We did have one issue with the condition when we arrived which we messaged the host about. There was a definite small of pets in the condo. The host offered to send a cleaning service again to address it but since we didn't feel cleaning was the issue we declined. Hopefully a thorough cleaning after we left took care of it. I gave a three star rating on communication only because I messaged the host several times through the app and email to notify them of an additional person who would be staying with us since their policy states each guest must be declared. We did not get a reply back and had to message several more times for confirmation. Pay attention to the parking rules! On the second day we came back and someone had parked in our designated spot so we parked our car in one of the Permit Only spaces across from the designated spot. These spots were about 1/2 empty so we thought it would be okay considering our spot was occupied. OUr hope was that since someone was parked in our spot the overall rules were lax. Our rental car was towed and we had to pay a fee to get it back. While I don't blame the host for this since I am the one that did not follow the rules I would simply encourage future guests to make sure and be the jerk who reports another car in YOUR spot because if you don't someone else will and you will pay the price.
The inside of the property was very modern, clean and updated. The property had everything we needed for our stay at Disneyland. It was me, my husband and two teenage daughters and we had plenty of space to be together or spread out. However, when we first arrived there was a very strong odor that smelled like rotten eggs. I thought it was coming from the sink so we went to the store and purchased baking soda to put down the sink which helped some. However in the morning the smell was strong again. It was later that morning that my husband discovered that the eye to the gas was partially on. We hadn't touched the stove so it had been left on. It terrified us to think we could have died of monoxide poisoning in our sleep. We had planned a Disney trip with over 40 of our family members and we dropped my parents at their condo in the same building but no one knew which condo we were in. We called the property manager to ask if their was a monoxide detector and the person we spoke to said there should be but they weren't sure if it was plugged in. She would contact the property manager but no one ever called us back. The other issue we have is that we have stayed at many VRBO's and this was the first time we were given so many rules. Not only in the contract but there were signs all over the house with threatening language. Such as if you put dish liquid soap instead of dishwashing soap you will incur any costs. If you flush anything down the toilet that causes damage you will incur the cost. We felt like we were walking on egg shells. My parents stayed in a different condo in the same building and they had non of the rules we had and the property manager called them several times to give them tips and to see how there trip was going. Overall it is a beautiful property but the property company with the name Fun in their name took a lot of the fun out of our stay. If I were the owners I would at the very least have the property manager reevaluate their customer service. Lastly, something else that seemed new to our vacation rental experience is that when we picked the place we were very happy with the price but after all the taxes and fees the priced jumped up to what was comparable to a Disney Hotel.
