Fun w/ Family! Lake of the Ozarks Condo w/ Pool

We spent out 30 anniversary there with our 4 sons. Beautiful views of the lake through out the condo. View in 3 of the bedrooms, deck even master bathroom has a great view of lake!.

To start with we loved the lake and we had easy assess to the boat slip (which is not included with unit). First couple of days were a nightmare. The bedroom with the bunk beds was unusable as the bed was completely broken. My kids had to sleep on blow up mattress until the property manager was able to remove it from the bedroom. But then rest of trip my kids had to sleep on a mattress on the floor. That part was very disappointing for my kids as they were looking forward to bunking. Other issues were more minor like broken curtain rod, window blinds that fell off the window, and not a very well cleaned unit. There were cigarette butts all over the outdoor porch and silverware drawer was full of crumbs - gross.

Our family of 9 was visiting Lake of the Ozarks for a nearby family reunion. Pros: The location was great. The apt was big enough for all of us. When I got in touch with the property manager, he was responsive. The apartment has sufficient sheets and bath towels and was stocked with laundry detergent which is always a welcome amenity. There were some things I would suggest as improvements: there were no beach towels, which felt odd for a lake house. There are no lamps in the bedroom, which makes reading at night difficult. Finally, while the instructions are clear about the hot water, it would be more helpful if it was on upon arrival. I forgot this and we had no hot water for showers on the first night.

We really enjoyed our stay in this condo and plan to go back. It was clean, comfortable and had plenty of space. The view from the balcony is stunning!

First I’ll say, there’s a long creepy drive down a single road in and out in the middle of the woods with no lights to get to this place. BUT it’s absolutely worth it for the wildlife you get to see, the quietness of the condominiums, and the view. The place was clean but a couple things were missed, no big deal, and the kitchen is too small for the amount of people that it sleeps. But no big deal we made it work and my absolute favorite part was the master bathroom/shower. It has a real spa like feeling, best feature in the condo. All the beds are super comfy and everyone commented on how well they were sleeping. The biggest issue we had were two of the four televisions in the condo not working. First we discovered the one in the master was busted (literally someone before us had busted it but you couldn’t tell until the screen came on) But once I talked to our contact for the property, he understood and was able to get us a last minute boat slip for free. We later found out the the television in the loft was not working either but it wasn’t worth making a big deal out of, also the patio umbrella was broken but we rigged it to stay open so we could sit outside without burning lol. Overall this place facilitated some amazing memories with friends and family, and it’s great for the price. A few small issues and there are nicer places on Vrbo in the Osarks but this one is unique.

Stayed here for my sister’s bachelorette party. Beautiful area! Water pressure was not that great, but great property overall!
