Fox Hollow Condo #35 | Cozy Retreat + Patio

Pros: cozy unique place Cons: where do I start the refrigerator was not working, didn't notice until the next day when we went to get a cold drink out of fridge and it was HOT so set all our stuff outside to keep cold. The TV didn't have remote which was explained in the notes left from owner but neither did the cable remote work either even with new batteries. There was hair on sheets in guest bedroom. Not kid friendly. My 1 yr old grandson wanted to open all the cabinets which had breakables. Could not shut bathroom doors from outside only inside hooks. There were what they called pillows but might as well not have been any, I've had pancakes thicker. I have rented off of VRBO MANY MANY times and this was by far the poorest quality place I've ever stayed and happened to be the most expensive for less time stayed.

Condo had everything we needed, clean and comfortable. Location was very convenient. We enjoyed our stay.

It was not good

The property was clean and comfortable. The rustic decor added to the atmosphere. We enjoyed our stay. We might consider coming back with our extended family if there is a unit with handicapped facilities.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We rented Fox Hollow #35 for a long weekend while in Ruidoso for an elk hunting trip. The key pick up was simple and we were provided with easy to follow directions to the condo. The condo was in good condition and we were provided with plenty of towels and a bundle of firewood. The kitchen is small but I functional. I wasn't able to locate measuring cups or spoons, but other than that the kitchen was well appointed. The location was good and was just a short drive to restaurants and grocery stores. There was plenty of seating and the rustic charm flowed through the entire house. The master bed room bed wasn't uncomfortable, but the mattress on the lumpy side. We only used the shower in the guest bath because the master shower didn't have enough water pressure.

It was a perfect charming little place and met all of my expectations. My favorite thing about this condo was the fact that the deer walk right up to you!! It was right out of a story book. I do wish the mirrors in the bathrooms were higher. I couldn't do my hair or makeup in the bathroom because the mirrors were so low. Other than that, it was a great place to stay.
