Perfect family vacation home, close to beach, amenities and outdoor activities. Home is well-provisioned, clean, quiet and spacious. We’ll definitely stay here again.

There are so many good reasons to stay here! For 3 ladies, it ticked all the boxes. The beds were so comfortable, and all the rooms were beautifully appointed. I will definitely come back!

The property was ideally located for our needs…walking, golfing, city sites. The property was well appointed, comfortable, private, and secure. Communications with the host were timely and accurate. Highly recommend this property.

I loved that it was pet friendly, a well stocked kitchen, all the amenities like a washing machine, dishwasher and lots of extras like games, tv and beach towels. Loved the fireplace and bbq and outdoor space as well! We will be back!

We had a really great time as a family and thought the space was perfect and has a great location, highly recommend. The kitchen had plenty of everything you'd need.

Overall very nice accommodation and location was so nice for walks in the park. My only negative was the beds in the second bedroom were uncomfortable.

A lovely unit, well stocked and private. It was wonderful to be able to bring our dog (we scrubbed her paws more than we do at home!) She was so excited to see the rabbits on the trails, and the deer that walked past our back door! Would definitely stay here again.

Excellent spot. The space was very cozy, clean, and tastefully decorated. There wasn't anything to hope for! Proximity to the beach is less than a 5 min walk. I would definitely book here again if retuning to the area.

The property has everything for relaxing all year long. It’s in great condition and well kept. Alexis answers questions quickly and is available if you have a problem. We’ve stayed in several of the units at Tanglewood, and they have all been good. I’ll rent from Alexis again.

Such a glorious home tucked away along the mini rainforest of Rathtrevor Beach. This incredible hideaway is not only cozy, comfortable, and stylishly designed, it is so well stocked. The owners have thought of everything! Very thoughtful in their planning. It is a return favourite for us!!

The host was very responsive and the rental had everything we needed to feel very comfortable. Also our dog loved the local rabbits

This was my home away from home! The property was stocked with everything i needed. It was quiet, comfy and honestly a dream. Would love to own this place as my own home. If i ever need to book a place for work again you can be sure I will look here first! Thank for a little piece of heaven!

This is the 3rd year we have stayed here and love it each and every time. The World Series was on and the hosts ensured we had what we needed to watch the final 2 games. The kitchen is great to cook in and is very well stocked. The BBQ works wonderfully. The beds are very comfy. And the fireplace is a dream on those cooler days. I look forward to our future stays.

We had a great stay - the place comfortably accommodated 4 adults and two toddlers, plus a dog. Both bathrooms and the kitchen are well stocked. There’s parking for two cars. There’s lots of natural light. It’s walking distance to the beach and provincial Park and a short drive to many beautiful trailheads for hikes. Amenities are close by. It was clean and comfortable.

Spotless accommodation with all the amenities we needed for a comfortable stay. Rathtrevor beach is just a short walk away. Our host was helpful and flexible.This is our second visit and it won’t be our last!

We certainly enjoyed our stay. Everything we needed.A couple of things. The picture showing access to the beach was unfortunate. It is why I chose your place because my sister uses a walker. She was very happy to see access was easy but it was not as the hill was prohibitive and we thought the path was right outside the door. It was really hard for her to navigate so had to find other beaches.Rooms were relatively clean. No body soap in one bathroom and none under sink. The fridge could use a good clean and open jars removed. Butter and half used packages of food was inappropriate. These things don’t bother us too much but one doesn’t know how long food has been there. Kitchen well equipped.Thanks.All

Wonderful property close to the beach and all the activities along Resort Drive. This townhome was very well stocked, everything you needed was there (so thoughtful!) and communication with the owner was great. We were very happy with this property!

Host was very accommodating ng and welcoming. Beautiful vaulted ceiling great for filling and listening to music and eating on the patio. Good for families and children and easy walking distance to beach.Hosted a dog one day and he had lots of room to play fetch outside and walk on a leash on Rathtrevor trails. mini golf and ice cream went to the beach twice a day high tide and lowIt was a great place for walkability.

Our stay was excellent and the accommodation was so good for our family of 4.

5 starsWe really enjoyed our stay at the Hideaway! The space was comfortable and had everything we needed for both day-to-day living and beach outings. The outdoor area was a real highlight; peaceful and private, with a BBQ and a lovely view of the forest. We even spotted deer and bunnies right outside, which made it feel extra special. Would definitely stay again!

4 adults, 2 pets. And 3 kids. It was bice to stay in parksville and enjoy the beach, mini golf and bumper cars. The condo kitchen has all supplies necessary for cooking we ended up eating all our meals there. No AC was the only downfall, as it was very hot, there are fans and we brought a big fan from home. Short walk to the beach and lots of toys and games for the kids. Grandkids loved the giant tub! Would stay again.

Very spacious, clean, modern place with everything you could need. Short walk from beach, short drive from Parksville and Nanoose. Lots of birds and bunnies. Hope to return!

Our family of four had a wonderful stay! Exceptional location, quiet and tranquil environment, incredibly stocked pantry and even toiletries and so many lovely spots and nooks to hang out in. We particularly enjoyed all the games offered which we discovered by surprise underneath the window seat!

This was such a lovely property to stay at. Very comfortable, beautiful surroundings. It's approx 400m walk down to the ocean and you walk right onto sand. The grassy backyard is shared with other vacationi properties but backs right onto the wooded area of Rathrevor Park and feels quite private. We loved our stay and the hosts were very reachable and responsive.

Excellent! Beautiful condo and grounds. The landscaping was amazing and very private. The condo itself beautifully decorated and very cozy. Everything was provided. I would highly recommend this unit andhope to return there some day!

Every amenity you can think of and then some. This condo is located close to Parksville for shopping,yet is a secluded hideaway close to the beach, walking paths, and a PUB! Super clean, modern, lovely fireplace. We can’t say enough about this property. Would highly recommend.

This is the second time we have stayed in this complex. The cabin is just a few minutes walk to the beach and perfect for a weekend getaway! Very clean, responsive owner and had everything you could need to enjoy yourself. We hope to be back and make it a family tradition!

Our stay in the townhouse nestled in the forest was absolutely gorgeous. The location was peaceful and private, with just a short and easy walk to the beach and Rathtrevor Park. The setting was truly stunning—like being tucked into a little slice of West Coast paradise. It was the perfect spot to unwind and recharge. One of the biggest highlights for us was how pet-friendly everything was—our fur baby was welcomed and had just as much fun as we did. Such a wonderful getaway for nature lovers and pet parents alike. Highly recommend!

Great place just a few minutes walk to the beach. Well stocked kitchen with some extras from other guests for condiments and pantry staples. We really enjoyed our stay and will definitely check if this is available when we head back in that direction.

We had another amazing stay at this property. The kitchen is well equipped for whipping up a meal, there are lots of towels and extra blankets plus laundry amenities and a cozy fireplace which is perfect for a rainy winter stay.Above all, it is pet friendly and the perfect location…only a 5 minute walk to Rathtrevor and nearby forest trails. We’ve stayed before and we will stay again!

We spent a glorious three weeks at the Forest Hideaway. It was peaceful and quiet. Exactly what we needed after a very busy season in our lives. It was very clean and well appointed, everything we needed and more! We brought our 11-year-old dog for her last trip to the ocean, her favourite place on earth. Forest Hideaway was the best place we’ve stayed at in Parksville. Close to the beach and amenities in Parksville. The cabin was well stocked with everything you need. Bed was comfortable and the place spotless. Alexis was great for communicating. Thanks for everything Alexis.

We are relocating to the area and needed a place to stay for a week. It was clean, well stocked kitchen. Great location.

The cabin was beautiful. Unfortunately there was a very strong fish smell that lingered throughout our stay. Otherwise I would say it was absolutely perfect!

My daughter, granddaughter and granddog and I all stayed here for two nights. I've been staying at VRBO's and the like for about 15 years and this stay was one of the most seamless and enjoyable. Everything was as advertised and the kitchen was better stocked than most. The location is terrific - away from downtown Parksville, surrounded by wonderful trees and just a short walk down a hill to the beach that goes for miles. The place felt open and full of light while also being warm and cozy. Alexis was super responsive with all of our questions and made the whole experience a breeze. We wouldn't hesitate to stay here again hopefully for a longer trip as two nights was not long enough!

This is a great place! Has everything you need and is in the perfect location with a quick walk to the beach. The host is really nice and responds very quickly to any questions.

Backs onto nice wild section of Rathtrevor Park The community has nice landscaping and large trees throughout, and has a great beach which is located at the bottom of a steep incline , The people we encountered were sociable and helpful . The historic Black Goose is a short walk from the accommodation . Very pet friendly and close to other nice spots to visit. Recommended.

The house was amazing to stay in for me and my family to spend a few days. It had everything you would need. The kids really liked the forest area behind the house. It also really walkable to mini golf course/ice cream

We returned to the forest hideaway again this year and found it even better than before. The host is super nice and very responsive to questions and needs. It was fully stocked with everything we needed for a fabulous holiday. The beach is perfect for young children as it is shalllow and goes on for miles at low tide.

Our family holiday was great. The house was just like the pictures, clean and very well stocked. Perfect location on a very quite street. We would stay again with no hesitation.
