Stayed Sep 25, 2023We spent four days in Heide and had the good fortune to stay in Ingo's apartment. It is rare that one comes across such a lovely, clean, well-kept residence, tastefully decorated, and has everything that one needs: pots, pans, cutlery, and china. Nothing was lacking. There was even orange juice, water and prosecco in the fridge. Ingo was a very gracious host, who was there when we arrived, and was easily contacted through the VRBO site or by telephone. He was extremely accommodating, letting us stay an extra half hour in the flat. The place is about a 15-minute walk to the centre of Heide, where there are several supermarkets and other stores. There are restaurants in abundance, the three that we liked were Rhodos, Alex Kitchen, and Oh Layla. Overall, staying at Ingo's place was a lovely experience, and we can recommend it without reservation.
