Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We needed to rearrange our dates due to the loss of a close friend. They were able to accommodate us and change our dates with very little notice. We didn’t bring our dog at the last minute and they were able to refund our pet fee. We had a problem with the air conditioner and they were very accommodating while getting it fixed. We will definitely be back!

Property is super quiet and private. Great location. Only negative thing I can say is the bed squeaks with every move and needs a topper to be more comfortable. Other than that we had an Amazing trip!! Definitely will be back!

Quiet condo at Beachside Colony. It was furnished with with immediate needs... shampoo, conditioner, soap, dish soap, etc. The attached restaurant, The Deck, was delicous! Pool was clean.Beach access was easy. Plenty of room for 2 people. Good communication for arrival and departure. Only 3 cons... no windows or balcony for sunshine, floors were dirty and turned your feet black if barefoot. You had to go out the front door to see what the weather was like for the day because you had no way of seeing outside.

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We chose this location because the wedding party was staying here. However, the beds were so uncomfortable. Neither of us slept much the time we were there. Also, we were only supplied with 2 towels. Which means if we wanted to go to the pool or shower again, we would have to wash our own towels. Seemed quite silly considering this is for vacation. I would recommend not staying at this specific condo especially during hurricane season. We didn't have power for over 24 hours and it was very dark due to being inside the property. I wouldn't stay at this condo again though due to the very very very very uncomfortable hard as rock beds and the lack of towels.

The heated pool is perfect during the beautiful sunny fall days. We rented bikes and always love eating at The Deck and Salt Island has a great menu!

Reviewer Comments: First I had to go to the office to get toilet paper, paper towels and tissues as there was barely a quarter of a roll and no back ups. Then later on when I tried to use the pull out bed there were no sheets or blankets and the office was closed so I had to sleep with the extra towels as blankets. The bathroom door was broken and doesn’t shut all the way. The bathroom fan was super loud and there was mold on the shower curtain. The washing machine also smelled like mold. The bed was so squeaky and loud I couldn’t sleep past 3 am without moving to the couch. I was told about a pirate festival which was great but not about the fishing tournament that took up 80% of the beach so even though we were on the beach we had to pack up and drive down the island to swim.

We made use of the kitchen and laundry: helped save $$. The on-site restaurant was very good - loved to have drinks and food at the pool. The beach was RIGHT THERE. It was easy to set up and walk back and forth. The pools were clean and not crowded. The kids had a great time! We will be back. We found the grills and next time will make use of them.

Did not get bedroom air conditioner to work, but everything else was as advertised. Believe some other rooms were more updated, but price was good. Pool, restaurant and access to the beach made stay relaxing. We found mid-beach to provide the most space of the beaches and this rental is right there. Short drive anywhere of interest on the island.

I very much enjoyed Tybee Island, days on the beach were outstanding and the management company was most helpful and available. The property's description and photos were deceptive and misleading. Had I known the unit had only one window which led in indirect light, I'd have opted for another property. The pictures led me to believe there was a balcony and ample space; but in actuality, it was very small, dark, and dated. The cooking utensils were dilapadated, worn, and barely functional. Walking barefoot or with white socks left the bottom of our feet very dirty. For the most part we ate salads and were forced to have lights on in each room all the while we were inside the unit. It wasn't a huge deal, just a surprise.Steps to the beach was ideal and the biggest selling point and great convenience. The onsite restaurant was excellent and the staff was most friently and welcoming. Defintitly worth staying there, just not in the unit I selected.
