Welcome to Etta Place 7, an AvantStay home!

Tucked in at the base of the mountain, this 1-bedroom condo is a great little hideaway in Telluride. The views from the porch to the end of the box canyon are striking.

Up one flight of stairs from the street level or five steps up from the snow level to the complex's terrazzo, you'll enter this unit from the designated stairwell. To the right on entry is the living room with a leather sofa with queen-sleeper with memory foam, 30-inchflat-screen TV(HDMI) with Roku and a DVD player. In warm weather, open the door to the shared porch to make the most of the view and fresh mountain air. The open floor plan also has a small kitchen with all the essentials (coffee-maker, toaster, microwave) and dinette that seats 4-6.

In the bedroom, there is a queen bed and TV. The bathroom is between the living room and bedroom and has a step-in shower.

Guests can also enjoy the communal hot tub located in the shared space between the condos. It’s the perfect spot to unwind after a day on the slopes, take in the mountain air, and relax tired muscles while soaking in the scenery.

From the Etta Place complex, you can easily walk to historic downtown Telluride, just five blocks away. Access to the trails on the Valley Floor. Ski-in/ski-out access is available when Lift #7 is open. The chairlift is located right next to the property, making it easy to ski in and out during the season and enjoy quick access to the mountain.

*Home Truths:*
- This condo is conveniently located at the base of the mountain, offering excellent snowfall and the opportunity for expert-level ski-in access. The lift is less than a 2-minute walk away, and with good snow conditions, you can even glide to the lift right from the home.
- There is no A/C at this property.
- The free in-town shuttle stops across the street; the center of historic downtown is a 10-15 minute walk.
- We allow service animals at this home. If undisclosed pets are brought into the home without AvantStay's approval there is a fine of $500 per pet.
- There is a bike rack outside the building that guests are welcome to use.
- Telluride experiences off-seasons in the spring and fall. Many services are not available to travelers. Please check activities/restaurants/home amenities, etc. when booking these dates.
- Please note; As a ski town, many construction projects happen around town all summer. Working hours are 8 am-7 pm.
- Guests have access to the coin-operated washer and dryer, which are provided and managed by the HOA.

Parking Details:
Parking is available for 1 car across the street from Etta Place at the Shandoka Parking Lot. This is a first-come, first-served lot. Vehicles can be registered for parking after check-in.

A pack n' play travel crib, and a high chair are available upon request.

This is a smoke-free property. Violation of the no-smoking policy will result in forfeiture of the security deposit, a $300 smoking fee, and liability for any fire or property damage costs.

As part of our commitment to being good neighbors, occupancy limits and quiet hours (9pm-8am) are strictly enforced. No speakers or sound systems will be provided for use in our properties. Violation of any noise ordinances will be subject to fines that can reach up to $10,000 per violation.

Events or parties are not allowed without prior written approval and an additional fee. Any unauthorized parties or events will be shut down and a fine will be assessed. Please inquire for more information about our event policies and fees.

There is nothing more important to us at AvantStay than the health, safety, and experience of our guests & staff. We've enhanced our cleaning and sanitation protocols and are taking extra care to disinfect all surfaces between reservations with hospital-grade disinfecting solutions.

As a reminder, we do work with 3rd party vendors to maintain the property, and although we adhere to the strictest CDC guidelines and advise all contractors to wear PPE equipment, we can not always enforce. We strongly advise guests to please deny access if any vendors fail to meet and adhere to these standards.

    For the last 17 years, my wife and I have celebrated our wedding anniversary over President's Day week at a ski resort. This year we chose Telluride. Happily, the entire experience was nothing short of fabulous. The town was beautiful and vibrant. The skiing and snow fantastic. And the condo was perfect for the two of us. It was well-equipped, modern, clean, and offered an unparalleled view of the box canyon that left us in awe each day of our stay. Thanks so much!!

    So we decided to go to Telluride without booking way in advance and all other rentals were taken. This place does not look like the picture. Everything is run down, the furniture, the carpet. There was even a faux ficus tree that looked like it had been through a blender, missing leaves and branches. The bed was a queen size bed with a full size fitted sheet tucked in at three corners because of course it didn't fit. The rent was not cheap. It seems to me that whoever owns this property could put a little of the rent money that they're receiving back into the property. A fresh coat of paint, new carpet, new furniture, including a new mattress would do wonders for this place. The cleaning crew cleaned it as best that they can with what they had to work. When I'm back in Telluride, if this is the only place left to rent, I'll stay home. I apologize. I most always am completely satisfied with VRBO rentals. We were in the area looking for property, otherwise we would have left.

    The condo was perfect for the 3 of us but what really made the stay great was the property management. My partner left multiple things that I had to go back for multiple times and in different days and they were extremely helpful in getting those things returned to us.

    Great property and location. Our 22 yr old and 15 yr old daughters gave the pullout couch the thumbs down for comfort and they are not bed snobs. Just to consider if you have adults or staying for multiple nights - one night for us was not a big deal!

    For skiing the location was great, you can ski or walk right down to the lift. That’s the good news. The unit itself doesnt appear to have ever been updated. Small old tube tv in the bedroom. Microwave didnt work. Cabinets and dresser drawls old and crappy. Bathroom faucet is near the brink of not working. But you’re in Telluride so thankfully not spending much time in the unit.

    For the price, it's hard to beat this condo. Right on the slopes facing the Coonskin Lift and Lower Milk run, you will enjoy how easy it is to nearly ski out your back door. Walking to the busy part of town is also just a few blocks away. Minor issues with the place include a mediocre sofa bed and the hot tub although in an amazing location, needs repairs.

    Bed in bedroom was fine. Kitchen appliances old but worked. Not well stocked for cooking. Carpeting and furniture was dirty and old. Sleeper was not usable. management company supplied air mattress which required being re-inflated during the night. Bathroom grungy and toilet had some plumbing issues. Location was really good and could be workable for a couple. But we were travelling with our 12 year old and this was not suitable for a 3rd person to sleep. Management company was responsive in supplying some basic items the condo lacked.
