Welcome to Etta Place 1, an AvantStay home!

This one-bedroom condo is snug against the base of the ski hill, offering ski-in/ski-out convenience with stunning views of the valley.

Guests enter this home on the ground level of the Etta Place One complex. Upon entering the condo, guests are welcomed into a bright and airy living room with a queen sofa-sleeper, flatscreen TV with Roku and a door leading to the deck, which has stunning views of Ajax and Milkrun ski run, which is adjacent to the home. The living room is open to the kitchen, which has stainless steel appliances, a coffee maker and everything needed to make a complete meal. There is seating for four guests at the large breakfast bar.

The bedroom is located down the hallway and has a queen bed, flatscreen TV and great light from a wall of windows. The bathroom is located in the hallway and has a large step-in shower with a glass enclosure and a spacious vanity.

Guests can also enjoy the communal hot tub located in the shared space between the condos. It’s the perfect spot to unwind after a day on the slopes, take in the mountain air, and relax tired muscles while soaking in the scenery.

From the Etta Place complex, you can easily walk to historic downtown Telluride, just five blocks away. Access to the trails on the Valley Floor. Ski-in/ski-out access is available when Lift #7 is open. The chairlift is located right next to the property, making it easy to ski in and out during the season and enjoy quick access to the mountain.

- The complex has a common coin-operated laundry room.
- This condo is located above the underground garage. The garage is owner's use only.
- There is no A/C at this property.
- We allow service animals at this home. If undisclosed pets are brought into the home without AvantStay's approval there is a fine of $500 per pet.
- There is a bike rack outside the building that guests are welcome to use.
- Telluride experiences off-seasons in the spring and fall. Many services are not available to travelers. Please check activities/restaurants/home amenities, etc. when booking these dates.
- Please note; As a ski town, many construction projects happen around town all summer. Working hours are 8 am-7 pm.

Parking Details:
Parking is available for 1 car across the street from Etta Place at the Shandoka Parking Lot. This is a first-come, first-served lot. Vehicles can be registered for parking after check-in.

This is a smoke-free property. Violation of the no-smoking policy will result in forfeiture of the security deposit, a $300 smoking fee, and liability for any fire or property damage costs.

As part of our commitment to being good neighbors, occupancy limits and quiet hours (9pm-8am) are strictly enforced. No speakers or sound systems will be provided for use in our properties. Violation of any noise ordinances will be subject to fines that can reach up to $10,000 per violation.

Events or parties are not allowed without prior written approval and an additional fee. Any unauthorized parties or events will be shut down and a fine will be assessed. Please inquire for more information about our event policies and fees.

There is nothing more important to us at AvantStay than the health, safety, and experience of our guests & staff. We've enhanced our cleaning and sanitation protocols and are taking extra care to disinfect all surfaces between reservations with hospital-grade disinfecting solutions.

As a reminder, we do work with 3rd party vendors to maintain the property, and although we adhere to the strictest CDC guidelines and advise all contractors to wear PPE equipment, we can not always enforce. We strongly advise guests to please deny access if any vendors fail to meet and adhere to these standards.

    Etta Place was the perfect spot for our trip. We came to Colorado to get married and were not disappointed. The view from our room was beautiful, ski access just steps from the door, and the bus that loops around town was convenient for exploring without worrying about driving or parking. The place itself was very clean and cozy, and had everything we needed for the 5 days we were there.

    We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The management responded to texts quickly. We were within a river trail walk to town and to the free gondola to the top of the mountain. We were also very close to the bike path. The condo is a lovely comfortable place to stay in Telluride.

    This was a very nice condo, it felt a little roomier in person than what we saw in pictures. It seems pretty recently updated, the kitchen is very well stocked with dishes and spices, the coffee was really delicious, the bathroom was nice. We had no issues except the disappointment to learn the hot tub was not working. And unfortunately we found the bed and pull out mattresses to be super uncomfortable. We're generally not picky about mattresses, and we've traveled and we sleep on the ground in tents every year. The mattresses here were very very soft. Telluride is small and the whole thing is walkable. This condo was only about 5-10 minute walk from groceries and downtown, and it's a few hundred yards from the river with a nice trail. Parking was no trouble, there was always a sport when we left and returned, and it was only a few hundred yards from the condo.

    We have stayed at Etta two years in a row and neither time has the hot tub been functional. The bed was one of the most uncomfortable beds we have ever stayed in, and there was no ice maker or garbage disposal. We love the location and the Avant staff was receptive, however we can’t say it was good enough for the price.

    This is a perfect condo for a couples getaway. The location is close enough to the town to walk, but far enough to be quiet and away from traffic and town noise. it had all the amenities you need with a grocery store in walking distance. My only complaint was that the hot tub was not accessible for use and there was a temporary large hay wall out the front door. While I wish I had been given notice of that with some communication (we booked for the view), it was beyond the owners control - Perhaps prep for snow season? Not sure why the hot tub wasn't available. I was told the team would reach out to the HOA on that. Overall, the Avantstay local team was very helpful with advice, suggestions, and help. I needed to reach out to the main corporate for a question and that team was very prompt and helpful as well. I would book again.

    Location and Parking: Fantastic. Check in/ou: Very easy. Size: Good for 2 adults, if a 3rd or 4th person was there and had to use the sofa bed it would have been really crowded. The living space (kitchen and living room) is not big. Also no table, only kitchen counter Kitchen: Appliances good except microwave (small- very short top to bottom and controls limited and not user friendly). NOT well stocked with dishes or utensils. Even with 2 people we ran out of utensils and glasses every day (e.g. only 5 mismatched spoons and 6 forks, only 2 big glasses which were only 8 ounces, there were several small juice glasses and a few small mugs) To the owners: I suggest at least buying an 8 or 10 person set of stainless steel and a glass set with bigger glasses. Pans OK, coukd use more cooking utensils. Some food storage stuff like tupperwares needed. Really not set up to cook and eat meals as is. Very clean but no mattress pad on bed, so only a thin sheet between you and prior people who slept there. It had a comfy strap on mattress top, but that can't be washed so still need mattress pad.

    I needed somewhere to stay for a multi-day cycling holiday - this property was perfect! Location is near downtown but quiet, amenities are nice, and hosts are helpful.
