Great host. Everything was as expected, the unit we rented was very well stocked, like lots of towels, kitchen stuff, etc. location was great for snowboarding at hidden valley, very short walk to/from the trails.

The host was super helpful and responsive, and the ammenities were great. We really had a great time staying at this house. If you are allergic to animals, probably stay away. One of our group is very allergic and he had to deal with allergies the whole time. On the flip side, the place is pet friendly so if you want to go somewhere with your pet it's great, and it's also great if you aren't allergic to pets and want somewhere comfortable and affordable to stay.

After I stayed at a lot of locations in Hidden Valley and elsewhere with dog(s), this smaller condo was very nice and roomy. Kitchen is well supplied and appliances worked well. TVs also had good selections and worked well for me. It was very nice having two bathrooms even tho only one has shower/tub. I liked being near the trails and even in worst weather, I could walk dog on 3 streets right there. I was not here to ski but at end of my stay I saw how convenient it was for adults and their children to walk to slopes. Also games are provided and little extras such as hangers and shampoo and shower soap. I was here in Warmer weather and then winter hit! Summer and fall would be very comfortable on lower level with large fans in living area and main bedroom. She also has a window unit for air if needed in summer, so need to decide which bedroom you’d like it in. Winter would be cold in living room area because of slider (which is a common problem) However, heater works great and each room has its own thermostat so can turn it up in this area without overheating other rooms. Main bedroom seemed much warmer at lower heat settings. Overall enjoyed my stay tho not here on vacation. Could use a snow shovel and a Mop for clean up in snowy wet weather. And a larger broom for kicking out the salt/ashes one drags in!Thanks for a very nice stay. Host is very supportive and available. Hope you’ll give it a try and I’m sure you’ll enjoy your stay.

I didn’t ski so really can’t rate that!Overall it’s a great 2 bedroom 1full bath 1/2 bath and roomy for a small condo. Appliances work well. Just a few minor improvements would help and I’ve mentioned those to owner. Host has been very receptive and I appreciated her help. I have been here in area long term because of family situations. So I come well prepared overall. Kitchen could use just a few minor additions to start guests out such as few food storage dishes and beginning foil, wax paper, sugar(for those who cook). There are a few spices here. There is coffee and tea, 2cofe pots. As I’ve said before I like the neighborhood and walking trails. A neighbor was very nice to me even inviting me to a neighborhood meeting and breakfast. But she realized I was originally from the area and thought I may in future be interested in property. Others with dogs often speak to those with dogs themselves. I like that there is security and there is an office directly behind this row of condos. I have spoken to them several times and they were always receptive. This host also has a nice little table and 2 chairs with pads and I believe citronella candles to ward off bugs. It’s cold now but it was warm earlier. Warm months are really nice here and fall is gorgeous, especially drive on turnpike and other roads. Of course, Ohiopyle is not very far and is a beautiful place to visit in season with quite a few restaurants for such a small town.

Nice hostess!Very nice small place for the price! Very clean and well appointed overall. The problems I have with most rentals is the furniture you sit and lay on is not considered the most important feature for comfort. Here I really liked the padded counter chairs with a back! The recliner chair was comfy. The main bedroom has an excellent bed.The room was very warm even in Oct. due to sun. need A/C in summer! Also when I came in late the rooms were quite warm. Liked Living area and main bedroom had very nice ceiling fans with nice bright light! You can open slider door and window as they are screened. All areas have their own thermostats so can turn heat on only in a specific area. Extra blankets. Nice closet space. Nice shower. I felt safe here—a big plus as a woman & her dog traveling alone. My dog loved the trails again. We’ve stayed at 3 other locations in hidden valley. Liked two but both had a problem with comfortable furniture. One living room furniture shot but a nice recliner couch in basement level. And other had very firm hard beds but a wonderful couch. 3rd one living area furniture was terrible. Stayed at moms over half timeThis couch is not one I could lay down on or sit very long as it was hard. I noticed some couches being made with an odd foam and not the normal couch cushion foam. But the couch was in good condition. Nice coffee/tea/spices/supplies. Suggest1-A chair or two to place inbedroom or living room. 2-natural cane sugar.
