Very spacious, clean, comfortable. Easy check in, check out.

There is very limited parking. It is noisy with traffic going but the back lanai is very cozy and wonderful views. The ladder to the loft is very steep and would not recommend it for anyone over the age of 40!

Carpet was dirty, cabinets falling apart, found ants in the kitchen, bathroom was dirty. Host did return to clean bathroom upon request. Silverware and pans were not clean - food found on pots and silverware.

Condo is in a great location, quiet, and private. Great little lanai and view for morning coffee and breakfast. It got a little warm in the loft even though we had the A/C running. There was a fan there but it didn't seem to work. Kitchen is pretty well stocked, but was missing a couple basic things like measuring spoons (We only needed for measuring coffee, but would have been handy to have.) Pictures represent the condo well. Living room carpet is worn and needs replacing but would not be a factor in whether we stayed again. The shower was great and had great water pressure, which you don't find everywhere! Overall, great stay and good value for the money!

We had a great stay in Princeville. The rental was exactly like it was listed. We love the location to travel and sightsee the north side of the island. The condo provided us the kitchen we wanted, as well as the washer/dryer in the unit.If we return to this are, we would definitely look at renting the unit again.

Property is as listed, beautiful scenic view off the back, being able to do laundry was a benefit, location very nice. Only complaints is that the ladder to the loft bed is very steep, however section couch provided a nice alternative; and wifi connection was very spotty. Other than that we had a lovely stay!

The location was great. It was easy to book and check in. The place was not clean… which left us feeling uncomfortable.

Responsive to my pointless question, which was nice. Otherwise, a wonderful place to stay, exactly as advertised. The carpet has some small staining and the AC sounds odd to start up and stop, but I could care less about those. Stains come with time and that’s fine. Loved the place.

I am saddened to leave this review, but it’s necessary to share. I come to Kauai very often. I’ve been there eight times since 2015 and I always stay in a condo at Hale Moi. This was my first time staying in this particular unit. From the beginning, I had a bad impression of the place. The front door was warped & had a big gap at the bottom and the door was very jiggly, to the point of me not feeling safe to sleep there at night. The carpet was absolutely horrible, stains everywhere. I was afraid to walk on there barefooted. And to top it all off the toilet sink had poop stains in it. Somebody had used the toilet apparently after the cleaner had cleaned it and left diarrhea stains in the bowl. The owner of the condo sent her 80-year-old ex-husband to clean it and I felt so bad but something like that should’ve never happened because from the beginning it gave me a really bad impression of the unit. And the cherry on top was a giant cockroach on the wall on my last night there that fell inside the couch where I was sleeping, so it kept me up trying to kill this thing. because there was no way I was gonna go to bed with a cockroach inside the couch cushions. I told the owner this and her answer was well it’s Hawaii, there’s gonna be bugs and the stains of the carpet are from the red dirt of Kauai. I have stayed at seven other units at Hale Moi & none of them had cockroaches or horrible stains like that. Or mold on the bathroom ceiling. Do not recommend.

Very comfortable place. Great living room area for lounging. Well equipped kitchen. Interesting loft-fun once you get used to it. The view from the deck is beautiful.

We had a wonderful time at the condo. My son (12) stayed on the sofa (extra bedding was provided by Michael) wehere the adults stayed upstairs. Everything was clean and organized, thank you again that we could use the beach equipment.Whenever we had a question Michael immediately replied and was available for us.Great calm location with only a short trip by car to the supermarket.

Place was great. Management was amazing. Highly recommend staying and will book again next year.

We loved relaxing at the home after a long day outside. The kitchen offered everything we needed to cook any meals. The home was clean, many windows that brought in amazing sunlight, and an awesome view off the balcony. We were very grateful for the AC and fans, it was quite humid when we traveled. Check in and check out were a breeze, contacting management was simple with fast responses. Loved staying here!

This place was perfect. Not a hitch. Good working AC, perfect little kitchen, comfy bed, clean upon arrival. Kind hosts.I will 100% return to this location the next time I am on the Island.

We spent 2 nights in the cozy getaway for a girls’ trip. Not only was the unit in a great location, it was comfortable and had nice amenities. Our experience was additionally improved because our hosts were available to help with all questions and were fully invested in making sure we were enjoying our stay.

The property was very clean, well furnished, and well ventilated to provide a refreshing stay! My 7 year old son loved the loft bedroom and there were windows aplenty to help keep us cool on a hot day. I appreciated the pitcher of cold water waiting for us at check in and the host was top notch for communication and hospitality! We booked this VRBO because we wanted to ride the Haena shuttle to Ke'e park to hike the Kalalau trail. Thankfully, this property was just a 15 min walk from the shuttle pickup by the Makai golf course, and a foodland grocery market was conveniently located at the street entry to the resort area. I had no problems with parking and actually preferred the permitted parking because it was well shaded from the sun. The balcony also had a nice view of the forest and mountains that was both tranquil and private. All in all, it was a great place to stay and I hope I can visit again!

Great location in Princeville. Very walkable area and access to a few beaches for sun, fun, and snorkeling. Easy to get to and great stay for exploring the north shore. The place was great and comfortable. Saw tons of birds and beautiful sunsets.

This condo was in the most perfect location to explore the northern areas of Kauai! Even on a rainy day, we were able to explore and walk the beautiful surrounding neighborhoods. This condo was clean and well appropriated. If you don't like ladders, this isn't the place for you. There is a steep, yet sturdy and secure ladder leading up to the sleeping area. After I had used it a time or two, it was fine.

Condo had all amenities listed. It was perfectly located for what we planned on doing which was hike the Kalalau trail. We only stayed one night and would come back as we didn’t get to see much.

We loved this condo, it was so beautiful! Great location in Princeville, 5 mins away from Hanalei. Nothing negative to say about it, the only thing i would mention is that if you are someone with limited mobility, this may not be the place for you because the bed is up in a loft in which you have to climb a wooden ladder to get up to.

Property was reasonably clean and overall happy with the stay. All the equipments were functional. Location and parking is ideal.

My partner and I enjoyed our stay at this VRBO. The location was fantastic. We enjoyed drinking our morning coffee on the balcony, the close proximity to the North Side’s activities, and catching the sunset in the park by the VRBO. The place was clean, well appointed, and easy to navigate. I’d love to be lucky enough to stay here again!
