very nice and peaceful less than 50 feet to the pool and a nice walk to a the river

The location is amazing ! Being able to walk half a block in the morning for the best coffee or listen to a band and have a cocktail made for a different adventure each day. Great shopping. The pool is right out the front door, which is great. On the small side but refreshing. The beds were comfortable, I just wish the main bedroom had a king size bed in it. Overall we had a good time.

This was my 2nd time to stay in this condo and it is perfect!! We parked on Friday and didnt move the truck until we left on Monday. Plenty of restaurants, shops and live music all within walking distance, and the patio is the icing on the cake!!

We were in New Braunfels to watch my son and his band play at Gruene Hall but came a few days early to get some R&R. the location could not have been better. The whole band was staying with us and the huge patio made a great makeshift practice space, to the delight of some of our neighbors who were really cool. The pool is steps away from the front door and the river is a short walk down the hill. Live music is a 2 to 10 minute walk in any direction. Gruene Grove is literally next door, Guene Hall is a 1 minute walk past that. The Villa is a 5 min walk the other direction. There are probably 4 or 5 other live music venues within another 2, 3 minute walk. Interior was great management went out of their way reach out and make sure we had everything we needed prior to us arriving, even let my son check in a little early. We choose this place largely for the location but also because it is pet friendly and we could bring our dog. Can't say enough good things about this place. Could not have been happier!

Location was great! Walking distance to Gruene Hall, The Gristmill, shopping and other dining and entertainment venues! Beautiful views! Best of all, very clean and well-kept condo.

The cloakroom of property is great. All Gruene sites are within walking distance. The property is very quiet and peaceful considering there is a lot of tourist and attraction activity is Gruene.

The host was excellent, the property was clean and well equipped with items needed. The location was perfect distance to shops and restaurants in Gruene. We were able to walk to everything. The only suggestive feedback would be to update the listing. The listing says there is an on-site arcade and there is not and it is a bit of a hike to the river for the elderly.

The condo was PERFECT for our group. Plenty of space, very clean and tidy, great location in Gruene, and beautiful view from the large patio. A definite return rental!

We stayed in this condo a couple years ago and loved the accommodations. We come to visit a friend who has a home in Greune and like to catch up with her and each other. We love the location and excellent conditions at El Grande Patio. And we especially appreciate the accommodating patio! This has been an annual trip for us and we hope to rent this condo next time as well!

Host was very responsive to questions! Accommodations were great - only recommendation would be to maybe replace bed in front bedroom by the kitchen! Other than that we were very pleased with everything! Would definitely stay again!

Property in perfect location and the owner is very accommodating.

We had one of our best Christmas times ever! The location was perfect, just steps away from all the best restaurants, shops, and activities! Our unit was spotless, clean and very well appointed. The expensive deck overlooked the Guadalupe River. By chance we met the owners in town and had a wonderful conversation. You could not ask for better Texas hospitality!

This is our favorite place to stay while visiting Gruene. Everything is perfect and we love the huge patio and views of the river.

Everything was perfect! Repeat guest here. The patio is the best, beds are comfy and has everything you need for a great getaway. Being in walking distance to everything Gruene an to the river when it’s warm I will be coming back soon!

Everything was great, perfect location!

We enjoyed our stay. The photos online are exactly what you get. The outdoor deck is large and allows everyone to enjoy the wonderful view and while having plenty space to visit. The location is great - walking distance to wonderful restaurants and shopping. Will definitely book this unit again.

This is the third time I have stayed here, and it is the perfect size for a group of friends for a weekend getaway. The patio and view are amazing. We love being able to walk everywhere in town and never having to drive! The host is amazing. I will definitely come back to this place and highly recommend to others.

Location was great! Walking distance to all the restaurants, Greune Hall, live music, and shopping. Easy access to Guadalupe river for floating and relaxing with friends, as well as pool. Enjoyed having morning coffee on large patio on river side.

Perfect location to take advantage of the activities in the Gruene and New Brunfels area.

The master bedroom mattress is not comfortable and needs to be replaced/upgraded.

This place was great! The communication was fantastic and helpful. It's very close to some great spots but also had amazing wildlife we got to see.

Great location and patio

Very convenient to restaurants and entertainment. However the property is need of some maintenance, balcony could use some new outside furniture and paint, the poolside tables and chairs could be upgraded. It’s just run down for over 500 a night

The condo was just as advertised - well stocked, spotless, location can't be beat and the patio was wonderful! The owner's were so, so accommodating and helpful. Overall, a wonderful weekend, you will not be disappointed!

Property is as described in previous reviews. The unit was cleaner than any VRBO we have ever stayed in (a lot)! AC unit was COLD and the hot water in the shower was HOT! The patio is huge with a nice river view. Owner is responsive and unit has all the amenities desired with internet, TVs, and plenty of towels. Thanks to Elisa for a GREAT stay! Highly recommend!

You can't beat the location in the heart of Gruene, only minutes walk from all the great Gruene spots. The Internet and TV have us some issues. But overall the stay was enjoyable and we will likely be back.

Stairs being a problem, first floor lodging was perfect… Lovely view of the river, especially since the trees were denuded all foliage, but winter has its charms too at Sunset. First day we saw two young foxes and two deer, obviously obviously not walking together, but on the hillside just below the patio, so encouraged that wildlife is still more or less disturbed and abundant in spite of heavy development. Everything within walking distance for two old timers and our mini Labradoodle Pepper. Comfy beds except there was a rollaway left in the spare bedroom that didn’t really need to be there, but didn’t get in my way. Enjoy the two large screen, smart TVs God willing we will return
