Duneside III 304 is a one-bedroom, one-bath oceanfront condo located 0.1 miles south of Garden City Pier, directly facing the ocean. This unit has a fully-equipped kitchen complete with breakfast bar, cookware, utensils, microwave and dishwasher, living room with private balcony, and central heat and air conditioning. Four TVs (cable), DVD player, and Wi-Fi are also provided. Sleeping accommodations include one queen and two twin-sized beds, plus a double-sized sofa bed. No washer or dryer inunit. Complex amenities include a coin-operated laundry and oceanfront outdoor swimming pool. Limit one parking pass per unit. No elevator. No trailers. No golf carts. No pets. Property permits off-season monthly rentals. Maximum occupancy: 6

Conveniently located close to some of the best area attractions, Garden City Beach is directly south of Surfside Beach and ends on a peninsula at the mouth of Murrells Inlet. One of the most renowned attractions in Garden City Beach is the Pier at Garden City. Other points of interest include Marlin Quay Marina and restaurants Sara J's Seafood Restaurant, Gulfstream Cafe, and Original Sam's Corner.

Just south of Garden City Beach is Murrells Inlet, a seaside community considered the Seafood Capital of South Carolina and home to some of the nation's best golf courses. Once primarily a fishing village, the town is best known for the Murrells Inlet MarshWalk, a half-mile-long boardwalk overlooking a pristine salt marsh, and the many award-winning restaurants along Highway 17 Business in the central business district.

Brookgreen Gardens, a sculpture garden and wildlife preserve built on four former rice plantations, is located slightly south of the MarshWalk. It features several themed gardens with American figurative sculptures, trails through several nature reserve ecosystems, and the Lowcountry Zoo.

If you're looking for places to shop, The Market Common, Broadway at the Beach, Barefoot Landing, two Tanger shopping outlets, Myrtle Beach Boardwalk and Promenade, and many more shopping facilities are all within an easy drive from Garden City Beach.

Looking for entertainment and attractions Take in a show at Pirates Voyage, Medieval Times, Alabama Theater, The Carolina Opry, or Legends in Concert. Then visit SkyWheel Myrtle Beach, Ripley's Aquarium, WonderWorks, Ripley's Believe It Or Not Odditorium, Hollywood Wax Museum Entertainment Center, and The Pavilion Nostalgia Park.

Other points of interest close by include the waterfront community of Georgetown, the third oldest city in South Carolina and the second largest seaport in South Carolina, and historic Conway, with its downtown Riverwalk area nestled on the banks of the Waccamaw River. Both towns include fine dining, shopping, and historic sites.

Take a day trip to Charleston to experience shopping, a harbor cruise, a city carriage tour, or a plantation tour. Charleston is only 87 miles from Garden City Beach - approximately two hours. It's a picturesque and exquisitely preserved southern city with antebellum architecture, cobblestone streets, and historical landmarks.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: No check in at the office on arrival. Garden City Realty sends a notification to your cell phone when the condo is ready for move in. Key pad lock on the entry door means no need to pickup keys. Duneside III sets right beside the Garden City Pier where drinks, karaoke and bands happen every day. It’s a fantastic location oceanfront.

    Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was clean. I was very happy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Perfect location. But condo bedroom is in need of upgrade. The mattress is sinking in the middle and it was impossible to get around the bed from the window side especially for older people due to no walking room. I also had to vacuum the bedroom because of dead bugs in the floor. Our entry code would not work upon arrival but maintenance arrived quickly and was extremely nice and helpful.

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Garden City Realty provides excellent communication about the check in/check out process, and made that part very easy. Unfortunately we ladies were very disappointed in the condition of the property. The cleanliness of the property was not up to par. Our feet turned back from the floors. We swept them ourselves, and found hair, sand and dirt. There is mold under the caulk in the bathtub, doors and trim had not been wiped for some time. The bathroom sink would not drain, and the garbage cabinet would not stayed closed. It's unfortunate, because we loved the location. We just made the best of it. (Yes, we contacted Housekeeping right away to let them know)

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: 304 Duneside III is a compact unit right on the beach. The view is spectacular with easy access to the fabulous Garden City Beach. The unit is very small but is suitable for a short term stay for a couple with perhaps 2 children. We’re a senior couple and stayed here for 3 months, January, February and March 2024. The bed, although, advertised as Queen, was a Double and the mattress was not good. Access to one side of the bed was also unsuitable as there was only a 4 or 5” gap to be able to access one side of the bed or climbing over the other person. The unit was surface cleaned when we arrived, dusty and sandy floor, so once we cleaned it ourselves it was suitable. I would not recommend this unit for a long stay, but for a weekend, week or two, would be just fine. Can’t beat the location!!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Condo was very nice and comfortable for 2. Having the closet to put beach chairs in was a huge plus. The only complaints is that the bed in the bedroom was tight to walk around and the washer and dryer had been pulled out of the laundry room due to the storms the week before and we’re not put back for our use until late in the week. Other than that I would recommend and will definitely return.

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: It is a great location right on the beach. There are a few stores a restaurants within walking distance. There is not an elevator so be okay with walking luggage and items up and down the stairs. If you forget your passcode to get in your door, just call and they can remotely unlock for you. If you are not familiar with the area, the pier is right next to this unit, there is a bar/restaurant which is loud at night with music. The sheets and towels are in sealed bags so that you can confirm they are clean. I had to mop the floors when I arrived as there was a dirty film on floor that was making our feet black when walking barefoot. The bathtub also needed to be cleaned. Overall the unit was clean. I had to put a towel down on any outside furniture before sitting because they were dirty.
