Stayed Dec 18, 2025This apartment had everything you could wish for—including a fabulous view, very comfy sofa and bed, and a well-appointed kitchen. The building it is located in is just stunning, with a very modern gym, heated pool and jacuzzi, and a game room. Hands down, on the many places I've stayed in LA this was the best. Joanna was super helpful and patient with us when we arrived late and let us store our bags on the last day. I couldn't recommend this more!

Stayed Jun 30, 2025Everything about this apartment and our experience was top notch! We had everything we needed for a comfortable long-term stay. This property is in the heart of DTLA but when we were inside, we felt away from the hustle and bustle of it all. The views from the apartment are spectacular and there’s so much to explore nearby. If you prefer to stay “home”, you can enjoy the terrace pool, hot tub or grill on one of the many available grills to enjoy your dinner outdoors. Or you can hang out by a fire pit on the terrace or rooftop. Joanne was super sweet, helpful and responsive whenever we had a question. She is, by far, the most gracious host we’ve ever had. We can’t wait to come back next summer!

Stayed Feb 23, 2025I stayed at Joanne Perla one-bedroom for a federal court trial. Joanne was a pleasure to deal with, and quickly addressed any concerns. The building itself is lovely and feature-laden. Neighborhood remains a bit dodgy, but the Perla is across the street from the Grand Central Market and close to other downtown landmarks and restaurants. I strongly recommend.
