Originally constructed in 1940, Cell Block is a one-story building housed the Colonial Beach Volunteer Fire Department. In 1990, it served as the town's Police Station when a concrete-block was added as the town's jailcells.

Stayed May 15, 2026This property makes a stay at the beach perfect. The property is well cared for, very clean & stocked with all the essentials. The location in regard to the beach, shops, restaurants, bars etc can’t be beat. With all the amenities at your doorstep, everything is just a few steps away. Yet when you close the door, peace, quiet & tranquility prevail. Colonial Beach is a wonderful beach town. A great place for a vacation. Staying at this property only enhanced our stay that much more. Highly recommend this property.

Stayed Mar 20, 2025What a gem at Colonial Beach! Having never been, we couldn’t have picked a more perfect place. Cozy, comfortable and convenient to everything. Waking to the sunrise was a treat. Very clean. Beds are comfy. Big nice bathroom. History of the building is so interesting. The owners are very very nice to work with. Would love to come back!
