Great location and was super clean and comfortable. Fabulous kitchen and family area to eat, watch tv , and just hang out in after skiing. Bedrooms and baths all in top notch shape with TVs in 2 of them. Loved the easy ski storage and laundry room at the back entrance. Even a stand up work area in the master to catch up on emails or do zoom calls if you can’t escape work ! Great way to start the holidays ! Thx
Overall a great start, the kitchen is one of the best equipped kitchens i've ever stayed in. Common area/kitchen counter is great and spacious. If you have 8 only downside is there are only two bathrooms. Very close to chair 7 lift, 5-10 minute walk to heart of downtown
We loved the location - right across from the creek path. Beautiful views of the mountain outside all of the windows! Very close to Clark's Market too. Comfortable & plenty of room for the 7 of us for our Mother/Daughter trip. We would definitely stay here again. The only suggestions/comments we'd offer is that a door/privacy is needed for the master bathroom. With multiple people sharing the unit it is necessary for other guests to be able to use both bathrooms and there is no door and therefore no privacy! Also the listing information was little confusing. It would have been great to have a small starter set of coffee but there wasn't any. The listing/app stated that we had access to the clubhouse which had coffee and snacks - not true - it was closed. There were no directions to the clubhouse so we ended up in the admin office. The access information for check-in was also slightly inaccurate so that caused a little confusion. Communication via emails/app/texts were a little confusing as well. If you have any issues definitely contact the local staff - Brittany was super helpful and worked out everything for us, including finding additional parking spots for us since only 1 garage & 1 street permit are normally allowed. If you do need to park outside the garage, A parking near the unit is pretty limited. Overall a great place to stay if you are visiting Telluride!
Condo is great. Walking distance to lift and downtown. We all thought it was great.
Location, location, location! Very cozy home near to the center of town and has nice mountain facing views from the master bedroom
We loved this condo and had a fabulous week in Telluride! The kitchen had everything we needed, and the family room provided a central place to enjoy games and quality time together. Comfortable beds and bathrooms. Great location for us!
We loved staying at lulu city 3G! This is a roomy condo with an artsy open vibe that we loved! A cute photo op with all of the license plates on the wall! And the kitchen is very open and spacious which is great for big groups! Highly recommend!
The local property manager (Amanda O.) met us onsite and left a check list of all she'd done including important info about the unit. There is a default line (maintenance) that one can text anytime for assistance. Prior to that, getting past the bureaucracy of the larger Vacasa was a bit of a pain but after that it was smooth sailing. I give the unit 5 stars for cleanliness b/c overall it was. However, there were some spots under beds and couches that looked like they hadn't been vacuumed in awhile. Nothing so big that would prevent us from staying there again. I did let them know about some minor fixes that needed attending to and they were addressed promptly. We lucked out as the pool had just opened for the season (5/12/22) and so this was a huge part of keeping the kids entertained, it was very clean and warm. Will definitely stay here again!
The condo itself is nice and the location is really great as it is a short 5 min walk to the lift. The biggest issue is the hot tub is not open yet and messaging about it is from early 2021 so you would assume it would have been fixed by now. Vacasa also did not communicate that it was not open and even provided codes to get into the pool/hot tub area. Even though this unit sleeps 8, they only provide one parking pass so that is really a challenge to figure out what to do with a 2nd car. We lucked out and had another property manager for our other unit we rented help us out (a local company). Vacasa is really a challenge to rent through because they are very hard to get in touch with and not local. If you have the option of renting in Lulu City I would recommend the location but check on the hot tub status, parking options and probably rent thru someone local if an option. Fyi, this is a ground floor unit. We also rented 3F and that is in the same building but 3rd floor. It would be really handy if someone created a map of the buildings and unit #s to make it easier to figure out proximity between units and general locations.
The condo was very nice. We had 6 people, and it felt very roomy. Telluride is a nice town walk around in, and the skiing was good. However, the town and ski resort were suffering from being short staffed due to covid and/or xmas. Sometimes there were unexpected difficulties with stores being closed, or not offering normal services, or having long lines. We had a couple of problems with the condo that also might have been covid/xmas related. The back-door we were supposed to use did not have the address labelled, and a call in to the Vacasa help number did not yield any helpful hints about how to identify the right door. We had to walk around the building a bunch of times, and figure it out for ourselves. That was related to the issue where the instructions given to open the door were incorrect. The numeric code was right, but the last thing to enter was a check not the asterisk that was specified in the instructions. Luckily someone in the group was cynical enough to ignore the instructions and try the check. The welcome info in the condo suggested that we could use a storage locker in Mountain Village for our skis and boots, which seemed much easier than getting all that gear through Telluride and over the Gondola to Mountain Village. However, when we called the specified number to get lockers, we were told we had to go to the lockers in person to get one. We tried that, but the lockers were not staffed. It was just a locked room with lockers inside. We called again later to get lockers, and were given an email address to request lockers. We requested lockers via email, but did not get an immediate response (normal for email). We ended up getting a couple of them for the last two days of our stay, but would really have preferred to have the lockers the entire stay. The lockers are a very good idea, but the phone number-or-email to reserve them should be provided in the online registration process, or perhaps should be included as part of the online VRBO form itself. Trying to reserve them when we were already needing them was too slow.
