Dog Friendly Waterfront Condo with Ocean Views Moments From the Beach and Town

I loved the easy access to the beach and quaint little beach town. Easy walks even though we put on 8 miles a day! The place is older, so nothing fancy but absolutely perfect for a needed escape to our happy place. Queen bed comfortable Nice ocean view to sit and watch with a cup of tea. Bathroom-plenty of hot water with lots of towels. Definitely would stay again.

This home was beautiful! My top three most favorite things about this home were the magnificent views of the ocean (which can be seen even from the bedroom), the LARGE kitchen which made it very easy to cook family meals, and the plush carpets. Our stay was relaxing and we were able to enjoy some privacy, beautiful beach waves, and great family times. This condo community has multiple units but #8 feels very private even though it's in the middle. Someone staying on either side would need to make an effort to walk in front of the main window to the unit as there are stairs both to the left an right of the unit for the other guests staying on the 2nd floor. We will absolutely be staying here again.

Beach access was awesome

The only issue was the unit smelled a little like dog, we had to buy a incense but other than thst it was great We hv stayed here last year in a different unit and did not hv that problem. Will definitely stay there again but maybe a different unit

Great proximity to the beach.

We LOVED our stay and WERE planning to come back. HOWEVER, I am being charged over $500 for a broken sofa bed that worked perfectly for us during our stay. The place smells awful and the internet doesn't work but despite that we wanted so badly to come back. The beach was a dream... but due to the dishonestly of the owners we will never rent from Joey's Oceanfront Getaway again. Heartbreaking.

Steps from the beach, and minutes from the center of town. Cute condo. It was perfect for our little family. Small shower, and the fireplace is electric, but those are no big deal. The pricing was very appropriate. We'll definitely be back.

Very frustrating booking process-although our original reservation (which was cancelled in error-not by us) was for a unit with a view straight out the windows, we ended up in a unit that we had to face the view at an angle. The dates for our reservation were changed once. My credit card was refused. So were 3 others that didn't even have a balance. It turns out the Vacasa system did not like that I used my middle initial on my cards. I can't believe I am the only person that uses their middle initial on their credit card and that Vacasa hasn't run into this issue before. And why haven't they changed their system? I will not book through them again. What a mess! As to the unit. The lights were very dim, several burned out. Could not get light on right side of couch to work even though we saw it needed to be plugged in to the power strip and floor button used. No instructions for fireplace. We never got it to work either. Although I know what an on/off button looks like. TV remote would only change channels, no guide would come up, or other functions. We are in our 70's, electronics don't come easy to us. Did not know an office was onsite until day before we left or where it was. Maybe that was our oversight, but perhaps it should have been more obvious. Would have appreciated a map of Rockaway--exactly where stores and restaurants were. Hard to slow down and look when on a main highway. The bedroom was lovely. Appreciated the plush carpet and 2 TVs.

Fabulous!! This location was perfect. The place was clean and well taken care of. We had a good time.

It was the perfect place with the most amazing view. The condo had everything you need.

This rental was spotless. Full size refrigerator, stove/oven and dishwasher. The bed was very comfortable, the kitchen well appointed and the location perfect. -right on the beach! We had a great view of the ocean from the table in the front room.We had a fabulous time.Thank you!!

Absolutely beautiful location. The condo had what you needed. However the bed is so hard feels like you are sleeping on plywood.

Pros: location can’t be beat - right on the beach, near to all of the communities along the stretch of road. Easy access to highway, and a few decent restaurants. TONS of towels & dog friendly. Cons: shabby interior with questionable cleanliness. No one cleans up after their dogs, be prepared to dodge land mines or step in numerous piles of dog mess. Poor bed linens (bring your own pillow!), lack of laundry facilities…just clapped out and tired.

Was on a work assignment in the area for four days and found this condo to be very well equipped, clan and comfortable.

We enjoyed our stay. We have stayed in several units on this property. This was not our favorite.

The property was very clean and well appointed. Exactly as described or better.

You can’t get any closer to the beach! I liked the top down bottom up blinds as the decks are used by all. It gave the option for a view without losing a ton of privacy. We were concerned about the dog friendly option but this was literally one of the cleanest VRBO’s we’ve stayed in.
