Dog-friendly oceanfront condo with beach access, fitness room, and amazing views

This was perhaps my worst vacation rental experience ever.First, I want to say that the condo itself was great. Spacious and well-appointed. And somehow the view actually lives up to the photos in the listing. If it looks fake to you, it's probably only because it's so bright and intense that the photos had to be toned down in order to not overwhelm the room itself.Unfortunately, I cannot say the same about the customer service.When I arrived promptly at 4:00 PM, the code I received did not work to open the door. I called Vacasa customer service and they gave me an alternate code to try. That didn't work either. So I called again. A couple more things to attempt did not work, so I was told that a lockout specialist would be contacted and they would be in touch. After 4 calls to customer service and at least 3 text message conversations, they finally suggested I get a hotel... 5 hours after I first contacted them. The hotel actually stayed open late to accommodate me. Their customer service was everything Vacasa's was not.The next morning at 11:00, I finally got someone to call me back. They had called a locksmith and managed to get me access. There was no offer to compensate me for the check-in nightmare. They could only pay for the hotel and shift my stay in the unit by one night (and actually tried to charge me for the balance).In summary, if you stay here and nothing goes wrong, you will have a lovely time. If anything does go wrong, though... Brace yourself.

Disclosure of ongoing construction to keep the property from sliding into the ocean would have been nice. Not charging full price during the construction activities would have also been nice. We enjoyed the stay though.

We enjoyed staying here for Thanksgiving. The view is amazing, as it’s directly facing the water. The place was very clean and well appointed … we cooked a full Thanksgiving dinner and didn’t lack any tools or pans for that. It would be helpful to have some hints about working the Roku TV … we wanted to watch football over the weekend, and we ended up casting from our phone to get network TV. But we will definitely stay again!

The location and views are so so good! Breathtaking any time you see a glimpse of the windows. This place offers 180 degree views, open the window or door and you'll be lulled by the sound of the ocean. The condo offers great amenities, including hot tub year round! This was the perfect place for our little family getaway earlier this year and the perfect couples getaway this visit. It has something for everyone and you'll never want to leave! It's quickly become our favorite place to run away to, for the weekend.

the view is the best ocean view in all of washington the coded doorlock needs to be updated the noise in the room above us was a problem, I called and was told something would be done. when it wasnt, the nxt night was fine

The views are unbelievable! The home is furnished comfortably and has any amenity a home needs. You cannot beat the beach accessibility! We used the heated outdoor pool and the hot tub each day. And enjoyed the sunset on the clear day and the fog on the other days.

The room was fantastic, right on the beach with beautiful views of the ocean, that was easily accessible via a very short trail. Comfortable furniture, well-stocked kitchen, nicely decorated. One of the nicest places I've ever stayed in. There were a few problems, though. Although there was an excellent library of DVDs an Blu-ray discs, the Sony DVD/Blu-ray player did not work. Also, the TV did not work - there was video, but no sound. Yes, we checked all the settings, but gave up after about 45 minutes. It may not be hooked up, and the controllers for the Sony DVD player (there were 2 of them) may have both had dead batteries. I didn't have any batteries with me and the nearest store is miles away. There was a washer and dryer in the room, but no one left us any detergent, so we couldn't use them. That's why housekeeping is going to have to wash the towels, instead of me doing it for them. Oh, and the light under the microwave doesn't work either. The 2 dogs that barked and whined all day long are not your fault, so I don't blame you for those.

You can sit and enjoy the sunset from the living room or porch.

We stayed here with our two boys and loved it! Walking through the front door we were met with a stunning view of the ocean. It truly does look just like the photos. The unit is very clean, comfy furniture and decor. I appreciated the helpful labels on everything. We'll stocked with everything you might want, from cooking spices, to small bedroom fans, to a vacuum cleaner to help keep the beach sand in check (it likes to stick to your shoes). The wash station just outside was super helpful, which includes a shower and a seperate hose. We all slept very well during our stay, it's very quite and peaceful. Would happily stay again!

This is a lovely unit and this is our second stay here. Unfortunately the front window seal is now blown so the awesome view is obscured. We would not have rebooked this unit with the view ruined.
