This property is almost perfect, my only concern was parking because is expensive in the area. I recommend it and would go back there, the history district is absolutely beautiful and the food is delicious.
The property was in a great location. We were walking distance to the river front and there were tons of different places to eat, drink, and shop. The unit was perfect for a couple to stay but the only issue was that the bed was hard as a rock. If the bed were more comfortable then I could’ve gave a higher review but that was a major problem for us. Also if you’re a light sleeper then the club next door might keep you up.
Right in the middle of the Historic District. We will definitely stay here again. Had one little issue that was resolved immediately. Very impressed with the service.
What a great little getaway. Perfect size for the two of us. Parked the car and walked everywhere. Very central. A real steal of a deal.
Clean and cute. The bed was comfortable for the 2 of us and it was in walking distance of great restaurants and bars.
We came up for my besties wedding at the atrium and was literally able to walk about 50 feet to get to the venue. We never got in our car to drive anywhere the four days we were there, we just walked to every thing we needed! Delicious restaurants, boutiques, gelato, the river front and even some great clubs were all within a block-3 blocks away max!! Parking was across the street and $12 a night which in my opinion was great. My truck was not vandalized, or dinged up by the time I left and $12 dollars gets you 24 hour overnight parking 7 am - 7 am. The studio apt was super cute but kinda tiny but for how much we were there it was literally perfect. It’s basically an open floor plan and everything is right there. It was very clean, but the floors made our feet black which was kinda gross but typical for an overnight home away from home. Also, be careful punching the code into the door. We were locked out of our spot for almost 2 hours before we were able to reach a technician that provided a solution. For future reference, I would recommend giving your guests the code for the actual key fob incase something like that happens again. The only other draw back was the amount of night light coming in the windows all night and the bass from the clubs next door. But we did stay on Halloweekend so I’m sure everything was extra crazy because of that. Overall we had an absolute BLAST and would totally stay here again. Hence the five star rating! Thanks for being such a cool pad!
Just perfect for a weekend getaway! Very clean and equipped with great amenities! Everything was within walking distance! Will share with others and we will book again!
Such a cute, clean little place that is in a great location. Love that it was dog friendly as we don’t go anywhere without our dog. Such an easy check in/out process as well. And you can’t beat the price! Overall would come back again!!
This was the perfect location for exploring the downtown area. It was very clean and well-kept. There was a coded courtyard entry which left us with a feeling of safety and seclusion from the busy streets. The property management was such a pleasure to work with and made the whole self-check-in and out process a breeze. We are planning a return trip soon.
Nice stay overall. Close to a wide variety of places to eat and shop.
Compact, quiet, charming. There were a few annoying things about the apartment (no toaster! no saucepans compatible with the induction cooktop! truly annoying creaky bathroom door and slow draining bathroom sink!), but mostly it was lovely. The parking across the street is fine, and it does NOT reset at 7am - if you have paid the the max $12 you get 24h of parking on a ticket for your dash
This was such a cute apartment. It is right in the middle of the restaurant/bar scene. There's a courtyard in the entrance where I hung out and drank my coffee in the mornings. It was bright and clean. Would stay here again.
Great location
Adorable, comfortable apartment in the heart of DT Wilmington. Exactly what so was looking for.
Loved the ground floor and location. Everything you need! Would definitely stay again!
Absolutely loved this house! Just a block away from the riverfront restaurants, shops, and bars!
Loved the location walking distance to restaurants, pubs, book store on the corner and tons of things to do! Loved every minute of it will go back soon I hope!
This great little space sits in an old building half a block from Market Street and is ideal for a visit to Wilmington. The condo is clean and neat as a pin, and the retro surf theme makes it feel like an escape. The location is within walking distance from coffee shops, restaurants, bars, breweries, the Riverwalk, museums, historical homes and gardens. For anyone concerned about the parking across the street, there is also free parking on the side street, and another paid option in a deck on the other side of Market. I will stay here every time I visit Wilmington.
Despite the name, Surfer’s Shack is truly not a shack! This apartment in a historic feed store is the perfect getaway spot for two! Wonderful location, great, well-maintained space! We would definitely stay here again! Perfect for a weekend exploring Historic Wilmington…can walk everywhere!
Perfect getaway for 2. Location fantastic. Easy walk to great restaurants, shops and riverfront.
This is a wonderful little apartment in a convenient location. It is decorated with surfer regalia and has all you need included. It is tucked in an old industrial building and very well appointed. Very safe with courtyard entrance. The biggest downside to this property is there is no parking with the facility. You have to pay for parking every day across the street.
For the price and having to pay for parking and inconvenience made the stay a sad one. Fiz the parking or lower the price
Very nice one bedroom kinda hidden away, with a cool courtyard. Clean and comfortable.
The best feature is location location location. It’s 3 blocks to waterfront and everything i could imagine is 1/2 mile radius
I was very blessed to be able to rent this really great centrally located property a few blocks from the Riverwalk. Surfers Shack has given me a great opportunity to see the downtown area and experience all the wonderful restaurants and events. Top 10 place.
We loved the space and the location! It had nice finishes and really liked the separate shower and sink space!
This is my second stay here. The location is really great.
