Dog-Friendly Beach Escape | Pool, Hot Tub & Dune Views

The property was in a great place. Everything was clean. The beds were horrible. The main bed had no support and felt like it was way worn out. It was very uncomfortable. I suggest getting a new matress. The pull out bed was even worse. It felt like you were laying on steel bars. We didn't sleep much. The steps were not very handicap actceptable.

I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Condo is a short walk to the beach. Condo needs new furniture and an overall update. Being on the first floor, you hear on the noise from the unit above. The best part of the condo unit is that it is right on the beach.

Bring a super plush mattress topper bc the King Size Bed feels like you are sleeping on concrete! Don’t forget earplugs bc the AC unit roars outside the bedroom window. The ceiling fan is super loose and it clank clank clanks too! There is zero insulation between the floors and you hear every step, chair scrape and door open right above. It truly sounded like they were bowling upstairs last night! Never mind the old uncomfy couch and old confusing shower faucet those were minor issues in comparison! Only stay here if you cannot find another pet friendly option.

This property is so close to the beach. Easy to walk to and from the condo/beach throughout the day. The pool is heated and a good size. Great trip!

Reviewer Comments: Room had a smell to it, pull out couch should be replaced as it’s broken and on its last leg, pots aren’t safe for use as they all have scratches and plastic cooking tools with melting edges. Shower was dirty with no extra TP, only one extra towel for four guests and wasn’t aware until the last day that there are pool/beach towels for use as property guest. Library was cute and nice bonus. Loved the heated pool and jacuzzi. Quick walk to beach with shower to clean off. Parking was safe and good. Loved the easy check in and check out process. Fan in living was broken and only on lowest setting, wish we could’ve turned it higher. We paid for location and convenience, which is what we got. The room could just use some upgrades. Would recommend property again. Be aware there must be stairs right above this room because it was constant walking and stomping. Not much property owner can do but it was keeping us up at night.

Reviewer Comments: Had a great time but something needs to be done with the sofa in the unit so broken down it's like sitting on the floor and the bed has no headboard and is very noisy when you roll over other than that was a good location don't be fooled when they say the sofa is new will be back next year for sure in another unit.

Originally the dates were set for when the hurricane came in and they did a mandatory evacuation of all people who were not citizens of Padre Island. We didn’t make the drive down because of this. They didn’t refund us. We reschedule. My husband got sick so we didn’t go. And they wouldn’t refund or let us reschedule again.

Condo was nice and cozy, clean and had everything necessary for our trip the ac units for multiple condos is right outside the window of the bedroom and some of them are kind of loud it didnt bother us as we like to sleep with the tv on overall good experience for a smaller family

Checked out a day early because of the bed. It was worth losing the nights stay so we didn’t have to sleep in that bed another night.
