Diamond Solitaire - Penthouse Beachfront Resort Condo

My husband and I decided on a last minute trip to Galveston and we were very excited about our stay. The lazy river was what caught my attention when I first booked it. Overall, the condo was clean and homey. If we are to ever go back to Galveston, this will be our go-to stay.

Definitely not a Penthouse. Had to fill bathtub with shower head. Toaster only browned one side of toast. Vinyl stools on kitchen counter were torn from wear. Definitely needs a lot of work.

Property and condo were immaculate.amenities terrific. Host was wonderful I would recommend staying at this condo and resort. Great experience in every aspect.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The hosts were great and quick to respond to questions. Condo was clean and well-appointed. Walking access to the beach without having to cross Seawall Blvd was great! Floating the lazy river every evening was the perfect way to unwind, and the massive pool was lovely as well. The hot tubs are large so it wasn’t awkward being in there with strangers. We hope to return!

Unit was very well appointed/stocked, communication with owner was great. Property was clean and well managed. Would definitely recommend.

Great location if as a smart grandparent you know your grandchildren will ultimately prefer the pool over the beach. Plenty of shallow water swimming pool area on property.Safe, easy access to beach for sunrise/sunset walks before it gets too hot for the little ones. Seahorse grill walking distance (across busy street) offer reasonably priced breakfast, lunch and dinner for all ages and is actually pretty good made to order comfort food.

Immaculate condo, location and view were perfect, well appointed with everything we needed and more, plus the owners were available for questions should any arise. I would not hesitate to recommend this condo. You could do as little as you want in this area or as much as your heart desires.

We had a great time over a long 4th of July weekend. The condo is very clean, and the check in process was easy. The owners checked in with us frequently, and all instructions were printed clearly in advance - we didn't have any issues at all throughout our stay. The property itself is very nice, and I was impressed with the service levels of the staff at the property - friendly and fast. Nice, clean, and comfortable bed, bath, and kitchen (with a view of the waves on the beach from the kitchen and living room).

This was the best place we have ever stayed! The stay was perfect, and there was so much to do right where we were at! The room was clean, and had everything we needed. The owners were so easy to work with and communicated so well. I would highly recommend to others, and we will definitely be back!

It was an amazing experience!! To the early check in provided to the check out! Jonathan & Janice stayed in communication on our arrival day to make sure it was a smooth process. My kids and I enjoyed every minute available at the many pools and amenities. Our condo was equipped with everything we needed made it easy took cook our breakfast and dinner for one of our nights! It was like a home away from home. We had a great view each morning to the beach and the resort pools. The morning sunrise was amazing! We hope to make this trip again at a future time. Thank you Jonathan & Janice for letting us enjoy your beach home!

We had a wonderful time. The location was beautiful and peaceful. Everyone is attentive, hospitable and great to work with!!

We ended up not even staying at this property. The owner’s description of the “expansive views of the beach” from the private balcony are not true. The Juliet balcony was maybe 5-6 feet across and enclosed in a corner of the building. While the unit itself was decorated well, there are literally no windows at all, other than the glass door to the small balcony. The owner supplied his cell number and was fairly responsive until I expressed concern. He then did not respond at all. Lastly, he kindly offered to leave us an island treat or drink, which was not there when we checked in. If you care at all about views of the beach, do not recommend.

Diamond Beach is a beautiful resort. Th condo was exceptional- cleanliness and many little extras making it feel like home- even had a decorated Christmas tree. Highly recommend this condo!!!

Bar is closed to guest. I was told by front desk that it is for residents only.

Didn't think it would turn into hurricane Beryl, but rode it out with my five year old grandson. Felt safe and secure during storm and grandson slept right through. We did get to enjoy the amenities the day before and can't wait for next trip back. Owners were great and more than accomodating.

Condo was wonderful for our 4 day stay. Kids enjoyed pool, beach and lazy river. Owner checked in several times to ask if we needed anything. Would definitely rent this condo again.

Very Nice Nice! Really enjoyed the Amenities

This is the 2nd time we stayed in this condo. The view from the balcony is gorgeous and the condo is well stocked. The hosts are very gracious and easy to reach. Definitely going back next year. We were there on our honeymoon and they left us a card, roses and a bottle of champagne. We couldn’t have asked for a better stay.

Beautiful condo unit, very clean, spacious…had everything we needed and more. As others indicated, the balcony is small, but perfect for two. Highly recommend and would stay again!
