    The condo was just right. We had a family of 6. Two adults and 4 teens and this condo fit us all with space to spare. The second bedroom with double twin separate beds was perfect for 2 teens and we used the queen sofa bed for the other 2 teens. Even with the sofa bed open, we still had plenty of space. We felt comfortable and relaxed. The view from the condo was awesome. I only have a few cons. The handle on the sliding door to the patio was completely broken. It was a fight to open and close the door. The master bedroom mattress sunk in the middle so the sleep wasn't too comfortable. The hairdryer wouldn't work and the tv remote needed new batteries. These are the only cons of what we dealt with. And yes, you have to pick up and drop off the keys at a different location, but it was only a 4 minute's drive from the condo. And even though there is a front view of the beach from the condo, you do have to do some walking to actually get there, but it's not bad. Also we were right next to a walmart, which was perfect for groceries and small stuff if needed. I would stay here again for sure. It was excellent.

    Let me preface this with: inexpensive condo, 5 or so minute walk to the beach. We booked this at the last minute. - You have to pick up and return the key at a different location away from condo, then check in at the Dawn office for wristbands and correct key codes. - Very busy, loud highway outside condo. Highway is between condo and beach. - Master bathroom shower does not drain well at all, standing in water over my ankles during a short shower. We left a message with Ryson, never heard back- however see below - Would be nice to be notified that there was going to be work done in the condo. A simple text or phone call would suffice. Somebody knocking on the door to replace dishwasher, so we told the Ryson workers about the shower drain as well and said he'd have to call a different guy for that. It got taken care of that day. Issue resolved - Base boards need painted/ replaced and tiles specifically in second bathroom. Tiles are cracked all over the condo and creaky floors. - Need curtain or shade over master bathroom window, it's those glass blocks type, so much light from convenience store next door even with bathroom door shut - Missing half the vertical shades in living room on sliding glass door- no way to shut out the light-also invest in some thicker or noise canceling sliding glass doors too. At the very least a full set of shades/blinds. - Balcony- definitely aged, extra chair outside was broken. - Black trim around front of fridge where the ice/water is in front almost falling off - Why have a clock on the wall that doesn't work? I'm sure it just needed a battery... - I get it, it's the location but soooo loud at night, well actually all the time from highway traffic outside and sirens are constant. - Pools were nice, not super busy. Would be nice and convenient if there were restrooms near the pools like most condos have.

    Loved that we were able to plan a last minute family vacation! This place is right on the sea wall and close to everything; very spacious and accommodating, it fit 3 adults and 2 teenage boys nicely! WILL definitely be coming back!

    The facility was awesome but we will not be choosing to stay with ryson rentals again. So many little things that were just annoying. There are too many other property owners to fool with them again.

    The condo was exactly as the pictures online. It was very clean and spacious. And just a short walk across the street to the beach. We would definitely stay here if we visit Galveston again.

    PRO Price. Walk across street to beach. CONS Unit is next to 24 hour gas station. Lights from gas station shine into windows all night. Curtains are not blackout curtains. Road noise from intersection is LOUD. Ice maker on freezer doesn’t work. Property advertises “heated pool”, pool heater doesn’t work and residences told us it has never worked. Coffee pot is a 4 cup pot and the kuereg leaks, so we didn’t use the kuereg in consideration of owner so we didn’t ruin anything. Furniture in unit is old, master bed is newer and comfortable. As others have said, parking is bad, but it didn’t bother me. I found it no different than parking at a high rise condo and having to walk.

    We got caught in the hurricane! Fortunately Walmart was right next door. The master shower didn’t drain properly and parking is horrendous. It’s a long long walk with stairs if your disabled don’t do it. They also charge you a Fee to park and use the pool. Young and healthy go for it! Great view of the Gulf!
