Stayed Dec 14, 2019The property is in a beautiful gated community called Greenhouse East. Parking is safe, the grounds are lovely, and the Olympic sized heated lap pool is one of a kind in the area. Neighbors and groundskeepers are very cordial. The condo is very quiet. The location is excellent. It is within walking distance to downtown Palm Springs. Our family walks a lot and there are lovely old neighborhoods within walking distance to explore. You won't just be walking on the sidewalk that runs around the development. We walked to and all over Ruth Hardy Park (where there are tennis courts), and throughout three old mid century modern neighborhoods, where the architecture is interesting and the streets are traffic free: Movie Colony, Old Las Palmas and Vista Las Palmas. The location is also convenient for getting to the tram to San Jacinto, hiking nearby, grocery shopping, library, community center, and for leaving the area if you decide to go to LA or Joshua Tree. The owner is very accommodating and easy to work with. Texting worked well; he responded to any questions right away. He thoughtfully left us basic supplies. He was flexible with things like check in time and receiving mail. The condo is clean and spacious. The outdoor space is wonderful. When we were there, it was not quite the season and nights and some days were too chilly to be outdoors. We suggest that the owner purchase a heat lamp to make the space useful year round. The space is large, the hot tub is convenient (we used the hot tub at the pool because you don't have to wait for it to heat)), and you can keep your bike outside. The sitting area indoors is very comfortable, sofa and chairs are great. We often just opened all the sliding doors and felt like we were living outside. The kitchen works very well. It is not overstocked, and I mean that as a real compliment. We have stayed in condos where the owners crammed everything they didn't want anymore into their vrbo kitchen. Far from it here. The glasses and dishes seem new, as do the pots and pans. The knives were sharp. There are a few things we thought could be added, no deal breakers; for example we added a pasta fork to his inventory of utensils. Our family enjoys cooking together and we had plenty of space to cook in the kitchen area.The dining table easily holds 8 and could probably fit 10; it's a great oval shape. We enjoyed our month long stay at this condo very much and hope to return!
